Some finds are better than others. Our CEO Zac was out on site this week and met Ljiljana Obradovic, who showed him her original employee badge, dated 1997, from back when we were known as Sharman Property Services. Yes, that’s where the “SPS” in SPS Facilities comes from.

Ljiljana still carries the badge in her wallet to this day, and it’s travelled the world with her. Nearly 30 years on, she’s still proud as punch, and honestly, so are we.

Fifteen years ago, Toni Kinniburgh joined the SPS Facilities family. She’s been with our Rail Centre One team ever since, showing up and doing the job right, day after day.

Two days, one team, and a whole lot of connection. 🧡

Last week our team leaders flew into Brisbane, including our offshore crew all the way from the Philippines, for a wellness day built around honesty, growth and a few laughs.

We talked openly about what’s working and what’s not, discovered our True Colours and how we each work best together, moved through some Tai Chi, and made space for real feedback.

We also celebrated each other with Cheers for Peers, before finishing it all off with a Hijinx Hotel adventure and dinner.

🧼 A recent strip and seal transformation completed by our Gladstone team has revived a floor that had been out of sight for around 20 years. Once hidden beneath cabinetry, it was well overdue for attention, and our team worked hard to bring it back to life.

After stripping back years of build-up, we applied a fresh seal to protect the surface and enhance its natural finish. The result is a clean, renewed space that looks completely transformed. ✨
