Stacy Moses, Fragomen

Stacy Moses is a solicitor and registered migration agent with over twenty years experience in providing Australian immigration advice and assistance to both businesses and private clients. Stacy has a wealth of experience over a range of industry sectors, including telecommunications & information technology, recruitment, banking & financial services, manufacturing, retail and professional services. She also has prior managerial experience in the regional coordination of immigration and advisory work in the Asia-Pacific region, and established and managed Fragomen’s Brisbane office for a period of time. She has been advising many of her clients on visa and compliance issues that surround short term business travellers into Australia since the changes to the program occurred in March 2013 and is keen to share her experiences and advise on the common challenges that are faced.

Abi Harris, Sungard

Abigail Harris is an experienced senior international mobility professional with over 14 years of experience in international mobility and international tax, in both in house and Big Four roles. Abigail is currently Senior Director, International Mobility at SunGard, one of the world’s leading software and technology services companies, with responsibility for their International Mobility Program. Abigail has previously headed up International Mobility at Macquarie Bank, and prior to that worked at KPMG in Paris and Sydney in international tax and mobility consulting roles. In addition to her International Mobility responsibility, Abigail has spent the last 12 months designing and implementing SunGard’s International Business Traveler Program, which is currently live with a trial population. She looks forward to sharing SunGard’s experience and some of their challenges.

Terry Kwan, John Holland

Terence is the Migration and Mobility Team Leader at John Holland, based out of the Sydney office in Pyrmont. Terence is responsible for the management and compliance of the global mobility and inbound migration program at John Holland. Terence works closely with other sister companies such as Leighton Asia based in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia and the Habtoor Leighton Group in the Middle East. Prior to joining John Holland, Terence spent 4 years working as an immigration consultant at KPMG and Fragomen

Tom Isbell, Grant Thornton

Thomas currently takes responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of the expatriate and employment tax work within the Tax division of Grant Thornton in Sydney. He and his team advise clients on a range of issues from Income Tax and Fringe Benefits Tax to Superannuation Guarantee considerations for expatriates and Payroll. Thomas joined the team in early 2009, having spent eight years working in the tax departments of big four firms in both the UK and Australia.

Abbey Hill, QANTAS

Abbey Hill is a mobility professional with over 13 years experience. Abbey is currently the Global Mobility Manager at Qantas Airways. Abbey manages Qantas’ International Mobility Program and was highly involved in the revision and relaunch of Qantas’ Global Mobility Framework last year. Prior to this, she was a Manager with Ernst & Young’s Assignment Services team on a number of blue chip accounts.

Maria Daley, Optus

Maria Daley is the Mobility Manager (Talent Acquisition) at Optus and is responsible for identifying OS opportunities for Talent at Optus. Being a part of the Singtel Group which has offices & joint venture companies throughout the Asia-Pacific, Maria works closely with all business to generate moves with the aim of strengthening our leadership/people capability through regional experiences.

Bio: Margaret has extensive experience in HR within a broad range of industries, predominantly oil and gas, mining and construction. This has seen her work as both a generalist and specialist in all facets of HR within Australia and abroad (living and working in West Africa and the United Kingdom) as a consultant and Executive Manager. Her work has spanned the globe (20 countries over 5 continents) and covered all labour classifications; including in-country nationals, third party contractors, international assignees, secondees, executives and executive/non-executive directors.
