As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for providing a broad range of support to the HR team and making sure that organisational goals are attained through the provision of human resources services and to contribute to a great organisation.
This role provides assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving human relations and work performance problems within the organisation to facilitate communication and improve employee human relations skills and work performance.
This is a newly created position available for a 3-month period, with the possibility for extension for the right candidate.
Some of the duties and responsibilities are including but not limited to the below:
Assist the HR team in preparation for new and upcoming projects.
Enter new employees into relevant employee databases, in preparation for the commencement of their employment.
Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in recruitment activity, as directed. This includes resume screening, phone screening, interviewing, reference checking and contract drafting.
Induct new staff, devise schedule and conduct company induction.
Provide administrative support including the compilation of contracts, change of condition letters and other correspondence.
Assist in updating HR documentation on a regular basis to ensure compliance to IR laws and regulations.
Respond to all correspondence received relating to employment and payroll enquiries.
Maintain HR databases.
Work with NetSuite and Emplive to generate required reports and to respond to enquiries.
Assist with payroll enquiries, corrections and compliance issues.
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications, experiences and skills;
Tertiary qualification or degree in HR or related area.
- A minimum of 2-4 years related experience/training.
- Current Qld driver licence.
- Proof of working rights in Australia.
- Must be proactive with a high attention to detail.
- Must be willing to take responsibility, be a problem solver and be able to prioritise work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational skills and the desire to drive process efficiently.
- Ability to communicate with members of staff on various levels.
- Excellent IT skills required for operating various systems.
- Ability to interpret, analyse and explain various relevant Regulations and Acts.
- Ability to research, evaluate, analyse various HR related policies and procedures and to find practical solutions in a timely manner.
- Previous experience and knowledge working with Netsuite and Emplive is desirable
