Impressed with the Iris Van Herpen exhibition, now relocated to the GOMA from the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. It bridges the worlds of art and fashion. I really enjoyed her creative influences, particularly from her time interning with Alexander McQueen that was really palpable. Her creative process was nicely highlighted showing her exploration of organic textures for inspiration — coral, water, and trees—as well as her innovative use of new materials and new technologies, including 3D printing.
