IMEX 2026…

Another busy year on the show floor, and as always, such a fabulous chance to reconnect with clients, partners and industry friends from around the world.

Between back-to-back meetings, rooftop cocktail debriefs, a stein and schnitty night, and a brilliant Ras Al Khaimah education session, we’re leaving Frankfurt feeling full of ideas, inspiration and plenty of exciting conversations to follow up on.

Last week, Becs popped by to visit the Destination Asia DMC team in South Korea… and naturally, Seoul understood the assignment.

There was the K-pop energy, the K-beauty glow, the K-BBQ, the K-drama backdrops… and then, somehow, a full K-hair moment. Becs heard the advice to go brown and, well, she listened. When in Seoul, right!!

And while the glossy bits are fun, what really stood out is how much South Korea has to offer for incentives and events. It is easy to access, beautifully slick, full of brilliant hotels and packed with the kind of experiences that feel genuinely fresh.

Big energy, great food, clever spaces, culture everywhere, and a Destination Asia team on the ground who know exactly how to bring it all together.

South Korea, you are a bit of a show-off. And we’re here for it!

Because yes, the venues are incredible. Yes, the experiences are world-class. And with the right people on the ground, it all runs exactly as it should.

A few days in Phang Nga with our partners at Destination Asia DMC

A destination that might not always be front of mind for business events… but one that quietly delivers.

From beachfront moments to hands-on experiences and everything in between, it’s a reminder that magic often sits hiding in plain sight.

There’s something about Ireland that always brings us back to people.

On one of our famils, we had the privilege of spending time with some of the farmers behind Baileys… and it stayed with us in a way we didn’t quite expect. In particular, Joe Hayden.

He spoke about his cows, but not in the way you might think.

He called them “his ladies.” And there was something in that. A softness. A pride. A deep respect for what they give and the role they play. It wasn’t performative, it wasn’t for show… it was just who he is.

It made us pause.

Because that same care flows into everything. Into the land, into the produce, into the glass of Baileys you might find yourself reaching for at Christmas. Something so familiar, so comforting… but built on early mornings, generational knowledge, and a genuine love for doing things properly.

That’s the layer we’re always looking for.

Not just the destination, but the people behind it. The ones who quietly shape the experience in ways you can feel, even if you can’t always see them.

For incentive groups, that’s where the magic deepens.

When a moment becomes a story. When a product becomes a person. When a destination feels… human.

And somehow, it all comes full circle… perhaps with a small glass of Baileys in hand, shared at the end of a long day, knowing exactly where it came from.
