Making time for the little things...recently we had an amazing family holiday to Europe! Leading up to it we all got sick with various coughs and splutters. The holidays were just what the Dr ordered. No mobile phones, limited wifi and simply family time drinking in the history of the places we were visiting and hanging out together! The takeaway from this....make time to slow down, take the time to ask how someone's day was and actually LISTEN to the reply and importantly... learn to say no when your cup is already too full...

I get asked a lot about the holy grail of perfect timing of social posts! My advice to you is think about your target market! For example if your customers tend to be mums and dads, post just before pick up time from school or after 8.30pm when the kids are in bed; if you are in the health and fitness industry - late Sunday afternoons/evening seem to work well - people feeling like setting goals for the next week; if you are a cafe with breakfast specials - early morning or around 7.30am on a weekend - people are just up and about and looking for somewhere to eat...think about when your target market would be on social media and post around then. Check out previous posts in the insights section on FB and Insta and see who was online and liked your post. There isn't a 'one size fits all' approach....
