Recently Solar Hybrids was asked to facilitate an interesting request from Caring Medical Centre who not only wanted to lower their power bills with Solar but also required a back-up system for their Vaccine Fridge, Server and other essential loads to ensure they not only saved on costly call out fees in the event of a grid outage, but provide peace of mind that their vaccines will be secure, and in the event of a prolonged outage, will have ample time to provide an alternative solution. The back-up system was designed using high quality Aussie made batteries from PowerPlus Energy and the always dependable, Aussie made Selectronic inverters. The PV array was a SolarEdge optimiser-based system. The separate systems were tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of Caring Medical and will ensure they reduce their power bills and have reliable power for those essential loads in the event of a grid failure. An upgrade of an existing Off Grid solar system for The Australian Federal Government as part of the Remote Indigenous Energy Programme. Our Electricians freighted all Equipment to site by truck which was driven from headquarters in Brisbane. This system is powering a small community with multiple houses in the outback. The capacity of the system was sized using data provided to ensure all the lights (& Air conditioners) stay on. Coupled with a back up generator for poor weather conditions . @ Lamboo Station

Another remote off grid solar system our team installed on Vanderlin Island in the Gulf of Carpentaria , Northern Territory . A very unique job in a beautiful location . All gear was freighted to site from Brisbane via truck & barge.
