One thing I’ve learned is that community impact doesn’t always look the way people expect it to.

There’s often an assumption that if you’re not at every event, every rally, or every community gathering, you’re somehow disconnected from community. I don’t see it that way.

For me, community is about creating opportunities. It’s about backing education because I know the difference it can make. It’s about supporting young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to access networks, experiences and choices that haven’t always been available to us.

It’s also about the conversations happening behind closed doors. Helping organisations move beyond compliance and towards genuine relationships with community. Creating understanding. Building trust. Opening doors.

The work isn’t always visible. It isn’t always the photo, the post, or the public moment.

But impact rarely starts there.

It starts in the everyday decisions, the relationships we build, and the opportunities we create for others.

A productive week starts before Monday arrives.

As you head into the weekend, take a few minutes to prepare for the week ahead. A simple weekly reset can help you avoid burnout, stay focused, and lead your business with more clarity and intention.

Use this as your weekly reset to clear your mind, refocus, and step into the new week with intention.

Save this post so it’s ready when Sunday evening rolls around.
💬 What’s one thing you’ll do this weekend to make next week feel lighter?

Most people see the workshop.
They don’t see the hours mapping the session, cutting content, and rebuilding it so it actually lands.
The rewrites.
The examples that get tested, dropped, and rebuilt again.

Or the question driving it all:
Will this help people do something differently tomorrow?
Good workshops aren’t thrown together.
They’re designed, tested, and tightened.

Today is one of those build days.
In the detail. In the structure. In the delivery.
What are you building behind the scenes?

We see the moments.
The sessions. The photos. The rooms.
But that’s not where the work ends.

Working for Community is about what shifts after - how people think, decide, and show up differently.
That’s the part you don’t always see.
That’s what shapes real change.
And whether it’s shared or not…
it matters.

👇 What’s something you’ve seen shift behind the scenes?

12/06/2026

There’s a version of us that shows up beautifully in familiar spaces…
and another that quietly appears when nothing feels familiar at all.

I wrote about something we don’t often say out loud -
that even in rooms full of successful, capable people,
it’s still possible to feel like you don’t quite belong.

Not because you’re lacking.
But because context matters more than we admit.

If you’ve ever felt this shift, you’re not alone.
And you’re not doing anything wrong.

What a beautiful day at the Eurobodalla Botanic Garden to deliver cultural safety training.

A room full of incredibly inspiring women sharing story and learning how to strengthen their practice.

It stays like today I realise how blessed I am to do the work that I do.

Stop Chasing. Start Choosing.

For years, I believed the harder I pushed, the more successful I’d be.

So, I chased every opportunity, every contract, every idea.
I followed every trend.
I tried to keep up with everyone else’s version of success.

And do you know where it landed me?
Overwhelmed, exhausted, and completely off‑track.

What I discovered there was the truth no one talks about:
Business isn’t about chasing everything.
It’s about choosing the right things.

When I became intentional:
- about the work
- about the clients
- about the future
- about MY wellbeing
Everything shifted.
The rollercoaster became a manageable ride, not a chaotic free‑fall.

Your clarity is your power.
Your focus is your strategy.
Your boundaries are your leadership.

👉 If you’re ready to choose differently, book a clarity call with me and let’s design your next steps together.
