Interested in learning how tidying can help you navigate uncertainty?

Especially during life transitions, becoming a parent, raising young children, downsizing, losing a loved one, moving homes (or countries), or simply stepping into a new chapter — feeling uncertain is common. And sometimes, we don’t notice how much that uncertainty affects us.

I’m a certified KonMari Consultant with over 10 years of experience in social impact and early-stage startups, and I’ve navigated multiple career and life transitions myself.

In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore how intentional tidying can help create clarity, stability, and a renewed sense of direction.

We’ll also be joined by special guest Caro, a Breath Worker, who will guide a short session to help you feel more grounded, calm, and connected. (Please wear loose clothing and bring a towel to lie on.) www.caromanins.com

What could be the benefit of tidying up?

Like many of my generation in China, I grew up as an only child. My parents worked incredibly hard so I could focus on studying. They were happy for me to skip cleaning or cooking, as long as I was (or at least looked like I was) studying or working.

As a result, I never really learned how to tidy my space, or how to cook — even though both of my parents are amazing at these things. I would tidy when the mess became unbearable, but it never lasted.

It wasn’t until I became a KonMari Consultant, and after years of practising, that I realised what was actually holding me back:

I didn’t really know myself.

* The books I thought I would read one day.
* The painting, the guitar, and so many other hobbies I wanted to learn — none of them lasted.
* The gym membership I paid for a whole year but only used a few times.
* The clothes I bought in duplicates, just in case I couldn’t find them again, while my wardrobe was already overflowing.
* The makeup and skincare I kept accumulating without actually using them.
* The doll I dreamed of throughout my childhood — only to realise I didn’t enjoy it anymore.
* The busyness I once believed meant I was truly living my life.

And the plant my dad left in my bedroom —
a quiet act of love I didn’t notice at the time.

Looking back, I realise I’ve come a long way.

When you begin to understand what truly matters to you,
decision-making becomes easier — not just for your home, but for everything in life.

✨ Exciting news! I’m honoured to be a 2026 Global KonMari Ambassador for the KonMari Consultant Program.

Pausing for two years and returning as a certified KonMari Consultant was a careful choice. I knew becoming financially sustainable would take time — trust doesn’t build in a day. But I can nurture it slowly, not only for the business, but also for myself to grow into a better person. Being part of a community that values long-term impact over quick fixes gives me a sense of peace.

Now I get to help welcome the next wave of people who want to spark joy through organising.

If you’ve ever dreamed of turning your passion into a profession in a gentle way that suits you, I’d love for you to join me in this incredible community of joy-centred professionals by joining an upcoming KonMari Consultant Course.

I’m happy to share my personal experience if you’re curious to learn more — I’ll also share more soon.

"Once the kitchen was organised, I actually started enjoying playing around and trying new things in there."
— N

N began her tidy journey with a simple goal: to get organised so she could better care for her family. They rent a furnished apartment, which makes it difficult to change furniture or create a layout that truly works for them. She was orgnised, but despite all her effort, she found herself constantly spending time trying to stay organised. She had tried many methods, including the KonMari Method on her own, but nothing ever lasted. She knew there had to be a better way, and that’s how we began working together.

Over six sessions, we focused on creating a home that supported her life, rather than one she had to keep managing. She learned sustainable ways to care for clothing instead of relying on quick “tips,” took time to recognise and appreciate what she already owned, built a wardrobe system her whole family can maintain, and created small “energy-boost” spots at home to help her reset and focus. Each change gently shifted her experience of home from endless housework to something much more enjoyable.

And the biggest shift happened in the kitchen, a place she kind of owns.
Once everything had a clear home and the space was set up in a natural, convenient flow, something clicked. She knew exactly where everything was, and the kitchen became a place of ease. She started experimenting, playing, and trying new things, pouring her love into preparing food for her family.

Your home is meant to support you to relax, create and play — not the opposite.
