Stretching . . . What's that? This is the scary reality happening in gyms everyday. Everyone knows they should do it though only a small percentage of people will actually put aside the time at the end of their session let alone dedicate a whole session for stretching. The benefits of stretching go far beyond just reducing tightness, stretching improves recovery and muscle growth. This can help you increase your training intensity therefore get better faster!

Determining your athletic ability or strong points can be difficult but you most likely have a good idea where you excel. A common system used is determining your SOMATOTYPE, these are body types which you more than likely have already come up with your own names for. Mesomorphs are the most athletic build and what most men aspire to have, they are your all rounders generally having good muscle growth. Endomorphs are your shorter more stubby body types, you will see these types excelling at sheer strength sports such as powerlifting. The final type is Ectomorphs, this is the tall and lanky body type. Great at endurance based sports such as distance running.
It's important not to let this determine your goals and only use it to help you in training, understanding this will only help you and does not decide for you!

Recently I have been trying some vegetarian dishes, this has always been something I was interested in. I couldn't comprehend how you would reach protein targets on a plant based diet but I can now see it is possible. With a well though out plan and preparation you could achieve you bodybuilding dreams and keep a clear conscience.
