Monday saw Hannah Dobbin take to the skies for her first solo flight, followed by a huge Wednesday with three flight tests — congratulations to Ben Scouller on his G3 rating, Celeste Vogiatzakis on her G2 rating, and Elliot Moniz on passing his PPL flight test!

Exciting times ahead for the Flight One Group! We are pleased to announce the integration of Wellcamp Airport into our Charter & Logistics network footprint.

Not only does this increase our turbine fleet size to 5 company owned King Airs (4x B200, 1x B350) but enhances our capability to offer our clients, new and existing, direct flights to more of their preferred destinations.

Standby for further updates as we continue to build our presence at Brisbane West, with more exciting news to follow soon.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish John and Josie Bain, long time operators of the local Air Charter Coordinators business, all the best as they take a step back and start enjoying some quality semi-retirement.

It’s with sadness but appreciation for a life well lived that we laid to rest SqdLdr Bob Molony today. The celebration of his life recalled service to country, love of family, and genuine engagement with so many of us in the aviation community as an examiner, ferry pilot, team mate and mentor. Long may his professionalism and sense of humour remain a legacy to light our way.
