HeliTSA is a global provider of maintenance type training. Founded by two highly experienced maintenance engineers, we are committed to providing highly practical training in an engaging, professional environment. All our of our type courses are approved under Part 147 by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). When you study with us, you will receive highly practical training via operational aircraft and hands-on fault finding scenarios. 🇺🇸 A great five weeks teaching in the US! 🇺🇸

We recently delivered custom EC135 and H145 courses for PHI Air Medical, running training across two of their bases in Texas and Ohio.

A big focus of this course was fault-finding. We worked through real-life scenarios to give the technicians new ways to approach the issues they regularly see in the hangar.

Even better, the feedback is that they’re already putting their new knowledge into practice… and that’s exactly why we have such a practical emphasis in everything we do 👏

Thanks to everyone involved for making us feel so welcome (and showing us the best spots to eat while we were there).

Our annual T53 course just wrapped up and, once again, it was such a valuable week of training! 👏

A special shout-out to our instructor Bruce for always going above and beyond. His knowledge of the T53 is unparalleled, and he is the only person we've trusted to deliver this training.

Thanks to these students for joining us, and to Bruce for passing on your many years of skills and knowledge.

📅 The next T53 course will run this time in 2027, so you can get your training sorted before the busy time of year for aircraft with these engines (dates aren’t live yet, but you can always email us to express your interest and be notified when enrolments open).

WE'RE HIRING! Licensed B1.3 Engineer / Instructor – Brisbane

We are seeking an experienced and motivated B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) for an instructing role based in Brisbane.

You’ll join our team of instructors, where you get the best of all worlds: a dependable full-time role largely based in Brisbane, with occasional remote contracts to maintain your hand skills, plus periods of working from home.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

+ CASA Part 66 B1.3 Aircraft Maintenance Licence
+ Demonstrated experience and current type rating on the Leonardo AW139
+ Strong practical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
+ Good communication skills

Additional type experience or ratings on any of the following aircraft are highly desirable:

+ Bell 412
+ Airbus H145
+ Airbus H160
+ Airbus H175
+ RR250 engines

ABOUT THE ROLE & BENEFITS

We’re all about making training engaging and hands-on for engineering students and industry personnel. That means you’ll be committed to making each teaching day an enjoyable experience. You’ll deliver technical theory concepts in the classroom and practical maintenance training in working environments.

Your role will also support the delivery of online refresher training and the development of new courseware in collaboration with our tight-knit team of instructors (choose to do this in our Brisbane office or working from home).
