She was born and raised in Brisbane, Queensland. Skye's main influences include Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Jhene Aiko, Norah Jones and Mac DeMarco. She is most popular for her RnB/alternative/Indie voice, suiting many of her influences. Skye has performed in many bands such as, "All Within A Year", an acoustic pop/punk acoustic band, "Finding Bliss", an acoustic duo from Brisbane, and "SABA", a Brisba
ne duo created with her sister Brooke Neil. In early 2011 through to 2012, Skye had performed every Friday and Saturday night for two local restaurants in the Village of Samford named, "The Homestead Restaurant", and "Allegria". Although Skye has not currently released an album/EP, copy's of her originals are available for download on Soundcloud. Skye studied A Diploma Of Music at The Southbank Institute Of Technology, Brisbane. She recently completed A Bachelor Of Music at QUT, located in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane. She is in the process of studying an Introduction to Psychology, to undergo her Masters of Music Therapy in 2018. Skye has completed grade seven AMEB piano and is currently completing grade eight. During Skye's spare time, she teaches beginner piano to children and adults at The Australian Academy of Music and through her own business "SABA Piano Lessons". Soundcloud:
