A little while ago Heather & Janeene attended the Brisbane North Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Breakfast, connecting with local businesses. It was great to have started the day with great conversations about the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games and the opportunities available!

(For non-small businesses, this law has applied since 2024.)

From 1 July 2025, Australia’s minimum wage and minimum award wages will rise by 3.5%. The National Minimum Wage will increase to $24.95/hr.

Now’s the time to:

✔️ Check your Awards (classifications, minimum rates, allowances, penalty/overtime rates) - these may not be updated until closer to 1 July
✔️ Inform affected staff
✔️ Update payroll systems
