Take the guesswork out at a critical moment.

Always sitting there next to your am******on box.

When the wind decides it's time for a major change in strength and direction, and you cannot wait.

A card for every range, fast and easy to read, works on the old military grid reference, with greater fidelity and 40% more data at your fingertips than the traditional rotary wind calculators.

Refines your call based on physics, reducing the risk of firing a sighter mid-string- no guessing.

Standard and custom for any calibre.

Think you’ve got the latest technology? Guess again—it’s been hidden away for 40 years. Truth is, you’re not even playing in the same league.

The original Holy Grail of precision r***e shooting.

If you own one of those old first-generation Juenke comparators, we can clean and service it, and if it’s not working, we can likely get it running again. Over 700 were originally sold worldwide, and there might be one sitting on a bench near you spinning projectiles; we currently know of 84. They’re not for the faint-hearted, earning the nickname “windscreen wiper” for good reason, but they’re worth their weight in gold and incredibly difficult to repair—one wrong move and its game over. Extremely reliable for many years unless dropped, which is why we recommend that you don't lend them to a friend

Over the previous 14 years, we have cleaned, repaired, and serviced units for world champions and record holders worldwide.

Illustrations attached: the original unit; many minor variations found; generally, the overall shape was identical; and a list of notable purchasers from the original operator’s manual.

Model-24 is not a loading tool; it is an instrument for checking projectile conformity.

Dedicated precision r***e competitors realised they were missing a critical component in increasing precision: They had all the latest reloading tools in the world, and in theory, could reduce group sizes at short range as well as their muzzle velocity to 5 feet per second consistently, but still had shots they could not account for at both short and long range: in other words, fliers.

Through the advent of electronic targets with a speed function, unless you have a Doppler Radar in the boot, it soon became apparent that their velocity spread at 1,000 yards was still wide, in some instances circa 70 feet per second. Why?

It was not clear at first; research found the answer: each projectile in a box had its own individual ballistic coefficient number, with its corresponding drag number, and a box of projectiles straight off the shelf had an average BC spread of 5%; this is before you add the anomalies that occur through production. The impact of minor percentage changes in BC was made visible by plugging that variation into a ballistic calculator to measure and confirm what was happening at the target.

So the question was: what was causing this variation in BC and the underlying problem? It was not the length or weight variation to any degree, and pointing the nose only increased the BC number and introduced slight conformity. Variation in the base of a projectile accounts for 50-70% of the drag number, and the remainder makes up the rest.

And there lies the answer: spinning projectiles to increase BC conformity, reducing velocity spread at 1000.

Champions have been using this technology for decades.

Don’t risk damage to expensive and fine equipment, costly to replace and harder to find.

So, if you cannot strip, service, clean and reassemble a watch, leave it to a professional; irises, dipoters and sights are tough but intricate.

Rear sight irises are an engineering design work of art built to handle heavy recoil and a generation of use, like a fine timepiece.

In the wrong hands, they can be ruined: the first plane polariser was damaged beyond repair, and some additional debris was removed; all other components were in pristine condition, and the second plane polariser was also perfect after cleaning.

Don't, use high-pressure compressed air to clean, or insert pins or any object to clean lenses.

Keep covered in a clean environment away from oil and moisture.
Dry off well if caught in rain with a clean, high-quality lens cleaning cloth.

That one shot that appears, that opens a r***e's 1/4 MOA group out to 1 MOA.

Ballistic Coefficient (BC) variation in projectile shape is as critical as any velocity spread.

Muzzle velocity spread tells a story; the real yarn is in the velocity spread at 1000 yards, a direct component of BC spread. The critical part: 95% of precision shooters miss- excuse the pun!

And when you reach for that turret to make a correction, you have effectively locked in your next shot in the opposite direction by moving your group zero, reducing your usable target area.

BC variation will reduce r***e precision by increasing shot dispersion and compound errors by reducing your ability to accurately determine group position through judgment calls on errant shots.

The top 5% know.

It is your am******on's velocity extreme spread (ES) at 900 yards, just before your round enters the last 100 yards to the 1,000-yard target, which is the primary concern.

You might have it down to 10 fps at the muzzle, but it can be as high as 80 fps at the target, no, you say; the statistics and physics say otherwise: the average Ballistic Coefficient (BC) variation of a premium box of projectiles is circa 5%

Standard sorting processes, such as measuring length, address stability. Pointing will increase conformity to some degree when done correctly; Missed is the overall profile consistency, which is not addressed, especially the boat tail, which has one of the largest impacts on BC conformity, thus drag.

Here’s a hint: some electronic targets may not have high shot-placement resolution, but are extremely good at reading speed at target.

And there lies the answer to your question about those stray shots.

Firing a tuned load out to 1000 yards, loaded with projectiles having a 5% extreme spread in ballistic coefficient, will turn 10 fps muzzle velocity ES into 80 fps ES downrange, with the corresponding shot dispersion.
