We’re all set up and ready for the first show in a couple of years. We welcome ever who is interested in Sashiko to come visit us at A14 at the Brisbane Craft and Quilt Show - Brisbane Convention Centre for the next 4 days. If you saw my video on Saturday, you’ll know we’re still ordering—and literally hundreds of sashiko panels have just arrived!

I know some of you have been waiting a while, and I’m sorry the shipment took longer than expected. We’re still madly processing them out the back, getting them onto the computer, up on the website and out into the shop.

There are lots of smaller panels in red, indigo and green, along with some lovely large designs. Many of my customers stitch these with coloured threads, and they’re just stunning. Traditional stitching is lovely too—it’s entirely your choice.

Last day at the Toowoomba Quilt show. Louise completed her large Sashiko Panel and was keen to show me this morning. She purchased some of my wildflowers and native flower panels to make her project into a quilt. Can’t wait to see the result. What do you think of her panel?
