I’m so excited, and incredibly honoured, to be joining the Women in Leadership Summit this September in Brisbane, hosted in partnership with UN Women Australia and .

This is such a special opportunity to contribute to conversations that matter deeply to me - supporting women leaders to navigate complexity with confidence, clarity and sustainability.

This year, I’ll be facilitating two workshops, as well as pre and post-summit webinars, helping leaders continue the conversation beyond the event itself.

Across these sessions, we’ll be exploring:
✨ Ambition Without Burnout – Drive, Visibility & Wellbeing (Day 1)
✨ Turn Resistance into Momentum (Day 2)

These are conversations I’m deeply passionate about because I’ve seen firsthand how often leaders are expected to “just know” how to navigate these challenges, often without the tools, language or support to do so well.

If you’re attending, I’d love to connect.

June turns attention to perspective: thinking strategically.

As the year continues, many leaders are recognising that strategic thinking is not just for senior executives. It is a critical leadership skill developed through curiosity, awareness, and the ability to step back from the day-to-day.

Leaders are beginning to see:
▪️ Strategic thinking starts with asking better questions
▪️ Looking beyond immediate tasks reveals bigger opportunities
▪️ Understanding the broader context strengthens decision-making
▪️ Patterns and trends often matter more than isolated problems
▪️ Creating space to think is essential for leading effectively

This month, ask yourself: Am I spending enough time working beyond the immediate to focus on what matters most?

Today I had the absolute pleasure of presenting Cycle Savvy Leadership to the wonderful members of Bayside Women in Business Inc. at the beautiful Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron in Manly.

Thank you so much to BWIB for having me, and to every woman who attended with such openness, curiosity and honesty. It was such a powerful conversation around what it can look like to build confidence by working with our natural cycles - rather than constantly pushing against them.

My hope is that you take what you discovered about yourself today back into your business, leadership, relationships and everyday life. Whether it was a moment of recognition, a new way of understanding your energy, or permission to do things differently - I hope it helps you leverage your own cycle with more compassion, confidence and self-trust.

As I mentioned today, this conversation is only just beginning, so please follow along for more updates in this space.

And if today brought up any questions at all, please reach out to me or any of the wonderful ladies from Sage Room Co-op Ltd. We’d love to support you.

Thank you again, Bayside Women in Business - what a beautiful room to be part of. 💛

This Thursday I’m speaking at the upcoming BWIB Lunch & Learn and presenting Cycle-Savvy Leadership: Rethinking Confidence for Women in Business.

It’s a conversation about how our natural biological rhythms can impact confidence, decision-making, communication, energy levels, leadership and business performance.

So if you’ve ever wondered why you feel completely on fire one week and like you’re pushing a shopping trolley with one wonky wheel the next, this session might make a lot of things click.

As usual, I will be bringing a grounded, practical and human approach to this topic. You can expect useful takeaways, meaningful conversation, and a fresh way of thinking about confidence in business that doesn’t rely on constantly pushing harder.

Sometimes the conversation isn’t really about the thing on the table.

It’s about what’s happening underneath it - the loop you keep getting caught in, the tension no one is naming, the moment where things start to drift and no one quite knows why.

For middle managers, this is often where difficult conversations get stuck.

And it’s also where something can begin to shift.

I’m so excited to be joining the Bayside Women in Business Inc. Lunch & Learn this May 💛

I’ll be sharing a practical, interactive session on Cycle-Savvy Leadership - and how understanding our natural rhythms can completely reshape the way we think about confidence, leadership and sustainable success as women in business.

For so long, we’ve been taught to lead as though we should feel, think and perform the same way every single day. But what if working with our biology, rather than against it, is actually the missing piece?

This session is designed to spark insight, reflection and real-world application - with practical tools you can begin using immediately in both business and life.

I’m especially looking forward to the conversations, connection and those “ohhh… that makes so much sense” moments we’ll share together ✨

A huge thank you to Bayside Women in Business for this opportunity - I can’t wait to be in the room with you all 🙌

✨ Meet Our Guest Speaker – Amy Jackson ✨

We’re excited to welcome Amy Jackson to our upcoming BWIB Lunch & Learn on Thursday 21st May at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron 💛

Amy is a leadership coach with over 18 years’ experience supporting middle managers and business owners to build confidence, clarity and sustainable performance. She is also the founder of Cycle-Savvy Leadership — an emerging body of work helping women understand and leverage their natural biological rhythms to lead and grow their businesses with more ease, confidence and self-trust.

🌿 Topic: Cycle-Savvy Leadership – Rethinking Confidence for Women in Business

We’ve been taught to build confidence as if we’re the same every single day… but what if that’s the problem? 👀

In this practical and highly interactive workshop-style session, Amy will explore how different phases of the menstrual cycle can influence:
✨ Energy
✨ Decision-making
✨ Communication
✨ Self-belief
✨ Leadership style

Together, we’ll unpack how understanding these patterns can help reduce Imposter Syndrome, improve wellbeing and support more sustainable success in business 💡

This isn’t just a “sit and listen” kind of event — you’ll walk away with practical tools you can start applying to your business and life straight away 🙌

Expect insight, meaningful conversations and plenty of those “oh wow… that makes so much sense!” moments 💫

May turns attention to courage: Tackling Difficult Conversations.

As the year continues, many leaders are recognising that avoiding tough conversations doesn’t protect culture - it erodes it. Strong teams are built when challenges are addressed with clarity, respect, and intent.

Leaders are beginning to see:
▪️ Difficult conversations create clarity, not conflict
▪️ Avoidance often costs more than honesty
▪️ Listening is just as powerful as speaking
▪️ Addressing issues early builds trust and accountability
▪️ Courage and care can - and should - coexist

Clear conversations = stronger teams.

This month, ask yourself: What conversations am I avoiding - and what could change if I leaned into them?

Explore May’s theme, Tackling Difficult Conversations with us.

Before your next tough conversation… pause. Are you going in as a task manager or as a human?

At Nurturing Confidence, one of our values is Humans First.

Your team members aren’t just “resources” - they’re humans with emotions and emotionally reactive brains. Just like you.

Before we can do the important work of clear communication, we need to:
• Create safety
• Connect as humans
• Share intentions and outcomes

When you show up with awareness of your own state, you make it easier for others to show up at their best.

If you’re ready to lead in more human-centred ways - especially when things are messy - our on-demand courses are designed for you.

like in practice. Link in Bio.
