This Wednesday at BNI Aurora, we celebrated something truly powerful — a massive wave of member renewals that speaks volumes about the strength of the relationships built in our room.

Renewals aren’t just paperwork.
They’re a vote of confidence.
A testament to trust.
A reflection of the business — and friendships — that grow when people show up for each other week after week.

Among the many members recommitting to another year of collaboration and success, we proudly recognise two standouts:

✨ Jonathan Law — Law Lawyers & Associates
Jonathan’s Personal Injury Law firm is driven by one clear purpose: finding the most effective and efficient legal solutions without unnecessary delays or added expenses. His calm expertise and client‑first approach make him an invaluable part of our chapter and a trusted professional in the wider community.

✨ Darren Comer — Aspire Health & Function
As a family‑owned chiropractic clinic, Darren and his team understand that no two people experience pain the same way. Their assessments and treatments are tailored to the individual — honouring each person’s unique story, symptoms, and goals. Darren’s commitment to genuine care and long‑term wellbeing is exactly the kind of heart BNI Aurora is known for.

When members choose to renew, they’re choosing each other.
They’re choosing connection, accountability, and a network that actively champions their success.

Here’s to another year of growth, collaboration, and the extraordinary people who make BNI Aurora what it is.

A milestone morning at BNI Aurora — and what a celebration it was.
This Wednesday, we proudly recognised the renewal of 15 of our members, each one contributing to the strength, culture, and success of our chapter.

Among them were two standout professionals whose commitment to excellence continues to elevate the Aurora community:

✨ Annie Mac — Real Estate Agent, Harcourts Pinnacle
With more than a decade of experience, Annie is widely respected for her unwavering dedication, exceptional service, and deep industry expertise. She is the epitome of a trusted real estate professional — reliable, knowledgeable, and wholeheartedly committed to achieving the best outcomes for her clients.

✨ Damon Kirkpatrick — Ambient IT
Damon brings a wealth of real‑world leadership experience from running businesses and teams of his own. His philosophy is simple and powerful: technology should support your business, not overshadow it. With a focus on productivity, safety, and seamless operations, Damon delivers the legendary customer service Ambient IT is known for.

These two members — along with the entire group of renewals — are invaluable to the BNI Aurora team. Their dedication strengthens our chapter, enriches our culture, and helps drive the extraordinary results we continue to achieve together.

Here’s to another year of collaboration, growth, and shared success.
If you’d like to experience the energy of BNI Aurora for yourself, reach out and we’ll gladly organise an invitation.

Another energising morning at BNI Aurora, highlighted by a powerhouse Feature Presentation from two of our tech guardians — James Gauci of Cadent and Damon Kirkpatrick of Ambient IT.

James provided the kind of clarity that makes complex ideas feel simple. Cadent partners with organisations to tackle big, thorny problems using responsible AI governance and smart systems development. His passion for creating positive impact through ethical, well‑designed technology shone through every moment.

Damon stepped in with the grounded, practical expertise that every business relies on but rarely sees done this well. Ambient IT is dedicated to managing equipment, resources, and providers so businesses stay stable, protected, and confidently operational. His commitment to exceptional service is unmistakable.

What made the presentation truly compelling was how seamlessly their worlds connect. Together, James and Damon form a powerful partnership — delivering intelligent systems, robust protection, and the kind of digital foundations that help businesses thrive rather than simply survive.

Engaging, informative, and full of value. Exactly what we love at BNI Aurora. Thank you James & Damon.

If you’d like to experience mornings like this and connect with professionals who genuinely elevate each other’s businesses, reach out and we’ll organise an invitation to visit.

There was a definite sporty flavour in the room at BNI Aurora this Wednesday — and an unmistakable maroon glow to match.

Of course, a handful of diehard Blues supporters stood their ground, carrying their message of hope with admirable determination. All in good fun, as this group of business professionals happily cast their serious faces aside for a morning of colour, laughter, and connection.

But beneath the jerseys and friendly rivalry was the real magic of BNI: networking with purpose, celebrating wins, and discovering new ways to help each other’s businesses grow.

A few standout moments from the morning:

• Scott Moore (Solar Air Energy) not only challenged everyone to show their true sporting colours, he wove the football theme seamlessly into his Education Session — a clever reminder of how teamwork, recommendation, and referral drive success in business just as much as on the field.

• It was a huge morning for renewing members — all 15 of them. A number like that speaks volumes about the value, community, and results members experience at BNI Aurora. The list is long, so over the coming week we’ll be sharing a little about each renewing member right here.

• Our Feature Presentation took a creative turn as James Gauci (Cadent) and Damon Kirkpatrick (Ambient IT) teamed up to explore how AI and internet technology work hand in hand. A fascinating look at the future of business, delivered with clarity and humour.

• And of course, we celebrated the wins from the past week — achievements that helped push our rolling 12‑month business generated to over $6.5 million.

It was a morning of fun, friendly rivalry, and genuine celebration — but also a reminder of what happens when a committed group of professionals consistently show up for each other.

If you’d like to discover how BNI can help your business grow through referrals, reach out and we’ll organise an invitation to visit our chapter.

This week at BNI Aurora, we had the pleasure of hearing from Navjot Singh Arora, Buyer’s Agent and founder of Aurora Buyer’s Agency.

With more than a decade of experience navigating the residential property market, Navjot brings a depth of insight that’s invaluable — especially in light of the recent changes to real estate investment outlined in the Federal Budget. His understanding of how these shifts affect buyers, investors, and long‑term strategy is second to none.

Navjot works predominantly across Brisbane’s northern suburbs, but his commitment to supporting buyers extends far beyond postcode boundaries. His approach is centred on protecting the buyer’s interests, uncovering opportunities that aren’t publicly listed, and guiding clients with clarity from the first conversation to settlement. Whether you’re upgrading, relocating, or expanding your investment portfolio, he helps you move forward with confidence and secure outcomes that stand above the market.

It was a timely and insightful presentation — and a reminder of the calibre of expertise we’re fortunate to have within our chapter.

If you’d like to connect with Navjot or learn more about how a buyer’s agent can support your next move, we’re always happy to make an introduction.

This week at BNI Aurora, we heard an insightful Feature Presentation from Adrian La Spina, Mortgage Broker at Astute Brisbane Central.

Adrian walked us through the often‑complex world of borrowing capacity — how lenders assess it, why it varies so widely between institutions, and the key factors that can influence your ability to secure finance when purchasing a home. His clarity in breaking down these moving parts was invaluable, especially for anyone planning their next step in the property market.

What really stood out was Adrian’s commitment to supporting clients over the long term. He’s more than happy to work with people who are still years away from buying, guiding them through the process, helping them understand their options, and setting them up for success when the time is right.

While first‑home buyers are his specialty, Adrian works with anyone looking to purchase, refinance, construct, renovate, or restructure their current lending. His passion lies in helping people enter the market with confidence and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Another excellent presentation from one of our dedicated members — and a reminder of the depth of expertise available within our chapter.

If you’d like an introduction to Adrian or want to learn more about how he can support your home‑buying journey, we’d be happy to connect you.

A crisp 15‑degree morning didn’t cool the energy in the room at BNI Aurora this week.
If anything, the chill just made the connection and collaboration feel even stronger — the two elements that truly define our chapter.

We kicked off by celebrating the membership renewal of Mick McKellar from Sparc Electrical, a valued and long‑standing contributor to our group.

Our Education Coordinator, Sherree Price from Tri Nature Environmental Products, delivered a powerful reminder about the levels of referral. Business doesn’t just circulate within the room — it extends far beyond, reaching colleagues, family, and friends of those who’ve experienced the exceptional products and services our members provide.
This ripple effect is exactly why our chapter’s goal of $7 million in referred business is well within reach. We’re already eclipsing $6.2 million, and the momentum is unmistakable.

We also heard two timely and insightful Feature Presentations:
• Navjot Singh Arora, Buyer’s Agent from Aurora Buyer’s Agency
• Adrian La Spina, Mortgage Broker from Astute Brisbane Central

Both presentations were particularly relevant given the recent changes to real estate investment outlined in the 2026 Federal Budget. There’s always something new to learn at BNI Aurora, and the depth of support for business in the room cont

And on a happy note, we celebrated the First birthday of Revii Reviews and Kara Baker brought a cake!

If you’d like to experience this energy, collaboration, and business growth for yourself, feel free to get in touch.

A powerful Feature Presentation at BNI Aurora this week from our Electrical Power Team — three specialists, one shared commitment to safety, quality, and doing the job right.

Our electricians joined forces to deliver an insightful session on the Australian Safety Standards that protect homes, businesses, and families every day. They also shared real‑world examples of what can go wrong when standards are ignored — even by qualified tradespeople — and why their industries demand vigilance, integrity, and continual education.

Meet the team:

• Paul Cloherty — EHC Electrical
Reliable local electricians you can trust.
Paul and his team deliver fast, professional electrical services for homes and businesses across Brisbane, Moreton Bay, and North Brisbane. Their focus: dependable workmanship and genuine customer care.

• Mick McKellar — Sparc Electrical
Quality air‑conditioning services across Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
Mick prides himself on exceptional workmanship, strong client relationships, and 24‑hour service. Sparc Electrical is built on reliability and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.

• Scott Moore — Solar Air Energy
Honest solar advice from qualified technicians.
Scott’s approach is refreshingly straightforward — no pushy sales tactics, just personalised assessments from experienced solar professionals who understand what clients truly need.

Together, they delivered a standout presentation that reinforced a simple truth:
Quality work isn’t optional. Safety isn’t negotiable. And collaboration lifts the standard for everyone.

Did you know that "Aurora" is derived from the latin for "dawn" and the name of the Roman goddess of sunrise?

BNI Aurora shines the light on how great business relationships can work and our meeting this week, as always, began with a huge buzz created with open networking. Some of our die‑hard members were in the room long before the official start, already deep in conversation, strengthening relationships and welcoming visitors with that signature Aurora energy.

This week was full of celebration and recognition:

• Rob Buchel from B2B websites, presented a great education segment on the process of recording referrals.
• A warm welcome to our newest member, Bella La Spina, Graphic Designer at Beon Studio. We’re thrilled to have her creativity and expertise in the room.
• Congratulations to three of our high‑performing members whose results and commitment continue to shine:
– Kara Baker, Revii Reviews
– Tony Charlesworth, Charlesworth Lawyers
– Annie Mac, Harcourts Pinnacle
• A major milestone achieved — we’ve officially smashed our annual goal of $6.7M in member‑generated business over the past 12 months. With more than $800,000 passed in April alone, the goal has now been lifted to $7M, and we’re well on our way.
• Our three electricians — Paul Cloherty (residential electrical), Mick McKellar (air‑conditioning), and Scott Moore, better known as Solar Scottie — delivered a powerful joint Feature Presentation. They highlighted the importance of adhering to Australian Safety Standards and shared real‑world examples of what can go wrong when standards are ignored, even by qualified tradespeople.

Another inspiring meeting that reflects the heart of BNI’s vision:
“Changing the way the world does business.”
