Throughout the country, some graduating students are going to be joyful and happy. As they log in to the relevant website, they will find out they have achieved the mark they need to get into their chosen university course. There will be celebrations among their family and friends. To these students, I would like to say well done and congratulations. Your hard work has paid off.
But, most students will be disappointed. They will be finding out they didn’t get what they needed. They will find out that their chosen career path has been thwarted because of their result. If this is you, then understand that you are not on your own. There are others just like you who are disappointed too. But, this is just a speed bump – not a dead end.
If you didn't get the marks you needed in your final exams, it’s ok. There are still so many options for your future. It is very important to speak to a career advisor at your school or university to see what your options are. You don't have to give up on your dream.
