Kelso Consulting Australia

Kelso Consulting Australia We are your business writing and training professionals. We specialise in writing tenders but also write proposals, blogs, website content and articles.

We conduct business training through our KCA Learning Hub. Let us help you be successful. Kelso Consulting Australia was created by Maree Moreland in September 2016. Maree's passion for writing, and helping businesses to succeed, are the core motives for the concept of this business. Our Vision is "to be recognised as a trustworthy and proficient corporate writing and training business providing q

uality training and winning documents to our clients throughout Australia." This is the approach we take for every client and every project. We want to ensure that we are providing a high-quality service every time. Maree Moreland has worked in senior management in the business world for more than 20 years. Maree welcomes the challenge of turning a dull piece of text into something inspiring. There is nothing greater than seeing a proposal or tender be successful and provide additional revenue, or a new client, for a business. Maree has also conducted staff training, one on one training of staff, and group training throughout her career. She now wants to share all this knowledge with you.

On my recent trip to Sydney, I was reading a great article by Deborah Hutton in the in-flight magazine. She was talking about how we need to find a balance between the digital world and the real world. She uses the triple-A approach -

Acceptance - accept things for what they are. Social media is not reality. Your real life values and actions determine who you are.
Authenticity - stop pretending and be real about who we are
Attention - pay attention to the person in front of you and the people in our real life rather than those on our phone.

What a great philosophy. By finding balance in our day to day life, we will be able to ignore the nay-sayers, reward the good and celebrate the wins.

The digital world is here to stay, but we have to find a balance.

What do you do to find your balance between the digital world and reality?

Throughout the country, some graduating students are going to be joyful and happy. As they log in to the relevant website, they will find out they have achieved the mark they need to get into their chosen university course. There will be celebrations among their family and friends. To these students, I would like to say well done and congratulations. Your hard work has paid off.

But, most students will be disappointed. They will be finding out they didn’t get what they needed. They will find out that their chosen career path has been thwarted because of their result. If this is you, then understand that you are not on your own. There are others just like you who are disappointed too. But, this is just a speed bump – not a dead end.

If you didn't get the marks you needed in your final exams, it’s ok. There are still so many options for your future. It is very important to speak to a career advisor at your school or university to see what your options are. You don't have to give up on your dream.

We are now heading into a season of celebration and parties. Christmas eggnog, beers and ciders and the popping of champagne corks will be in abundance. I hope you have an amazing time celebrating the holiday season, but make sure you don’t go too far. It makes me very sad when I see young peopl...

What do I want to be when I grow up? There are now so many options in life that it can be confusing. I would like to say that you can do and be anything you want to be. The career choices that are on offer to you are countless.

There are also lots of tools that can help you to work out what you want to do including many online websites that will help you make your decision easier. There are career advisors at your school but there are also recruitment companies that can guide you.

The sky is the limit; don’t let anything or anyone stop you from being what you want to be. Reach for the stars and you never know where you may land.

Put together a plan so that you can achieve what you want. You may need to do some extra courses. It is not going to be easy, nothing worth doing is easy. But with some hard work and discipline, you can achieve just about anything. Have faith in yourself and be confident.
