Happy Lunar New Year!
As January 29th ushers in the Lunar New Year, over a billion people worldwide are preparing to celebrate this cultural festival.
In China, the celebration spans up to 15 days and industry pauses for a week-long holiday, marking the end of Winter and coming of Spring.
2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake – In Chinese mythology the snake embodies wisdom and intelligence, and considered a guardian of prosperity. In Chinese folklore the snake represents material wealth and spiritual abundance.
The snake's ability to shed its skin, and wriggle off in the new one, is a powerful metaphor for transformation and renewal.
What aspects of our lives are ready for transformation?
Which habits, relationships, or ideas have we outgrown?
What needs to go?
If your January resolutions have already slipped away, here’s another chance to have a crack at them.
The Year of the Snake offers the perfect opportunity to embrace change and chart a new course. After all, as the snake teaches us, sometimes the best way forward is to leave the old behind.
Time to get hissy with it! 🐍✨
