Last week, Hypersonix joined a select consortium of Queensland companies at the Poland–Queensland Business Roundtable, hosted by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Polish Australian Chamber of Commerce (PACC), Embassy of Poland in Canberra, and Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ).

CEO Matt Hill represented Hypersonix and met with H.E. Karolina Ćwiek, newly appointed Ambassador of Poland to Australia and Trade Commissioner of Poland to Australia and New Zealand. This invite-only session brought together a dozen businesses to discuss the Polish and Central European market landscape, reflect on trade and investment opportunities with Poland, understand the growth priorities for European regions, and explore next steps for further collaboration between Poland and Queensland organisations.

With RKKVC already invested in Hypersonix, this roundtable marked another step in strengthening our ties with Poland, building on a relationship that continues to grow between our two nations' industries. It’s incredible to see the rising investment and backing from the region, establishing Poland as a key strategic growth factor for many Australian companies.

It was a genuine pleasure to connect with Her Excellency and discuss how partnerships like this can accelerate investment from Poland into Queensland's world-leading advanced manufacturing and sovereign capability sector, and where Hypersonix fits into that opportunity.

Last week, Hypersonix attended the 2026 Pacific Airshow, joining Australia’s aerospace, defence and innovation communities on our nation’s waterfront!

Amongst the showcase of world-class aviation, the airshow reflected the growing strategic importance of Australia’s eastern seaboard and the Indo-Pacific as a region where sovereign capability, resilient supply chains, and trusted partnerships will increasingly shape security and economic opportunity.

Hypersonix CEO Matt Hill and Director of Regulatory Affairs Samuel Hayes connected with Adam Gilmour, Founder and CEO of Gilmour Space Technologies, to explore Australia’s ability to develop, test, manufacture and operate advanced aerospace systems. Conversations like this matter.

Our progress is reliant on a connected national ecosystem - linking launch, high-speed flight, regulation, research, industry, and government. As competition accelerates across the Indo-Pacific, Australia has an opportunity to translate its engineering depth, geographic advantages, and allied relationships into enduring aerospace capability and export-ready technologies.

Congratulations to our partners North Wind on beginning development of their Aerospace & Hypersonic Research and Testing Complex (AHRTC) in Rosemount, Minnesota.

Hypersonix is proud to celebrate this milestone, with our Board Chair Arthur Sinodinos in attendance. This $1+ billion facility will modernise the nation's ground-testing infrastructure, pairing independent testing expertise with AI-enabled digital ecosystems to address a critical gap in the American demand for hypersonic testing capabilities.

The AHRTC is set to become a central hub for hypersonics and aerospace in the United States, validating system components pre-flight and cutting testing timelines from months to minutes.

For Hypersonix, this provides a home in America to conduct testing in simulated hypersonic environments. We are looking forward to playing our part in what this facility makes possible, from ground testing today to the next generation of hypersonic flight capability.

A productive week in the United States reinforced the momentum behind Hypersonix’s expansion, partnerships and mission to deliver agile, affordable hypersonic capability. Hypersonix CEO Matt Hill and Co-Founder and CTO Dr Michael Smart travelled to Huntsville, Alabama to attend the SMD Symposium and meet with key partners and stakeholders across the US defence and space ecosystem.

Expanding Hypersonix’s presence in the United States is a major strategic priority, with Huntsville playing a critical role in that journey. Its concentration of aerospace, missile-defence, space, government and industrial expertise makes it a natural hub for building long-term capability, partnerships and customer proximity.

The team met with Lucia Cape and Barbie Peek from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber and took part in discussions with Kratos, Rocket Lab, and Hanwha alongside other strategic partners. This also included a visit to the US Space & Rocket Center, where these engagements highlighted the depth of the Rocket City’s aerospace and defence community and the value of building enduring relationships as Hypersonix grows its US footprint.

The SMD Symposium provided an important opportunity to engage directly with the wider missile-defence community and better understand the priorities shaping integrated air and missile defence. The feedback was consistent; there is growing recognition of Hypersonix as an agile, execution-focused company in the hypersonic test-bed and target market. Partners see the capability we are building, the strength of our expanding team, and the potential for collaboration across launch access, payload integration, supply-chain development and allied customer programs.

For Hypersonix, these conversations reinforce the importance of a connected industrial ecosystem - one that brings together responsive capability, rapid iteration and trusted partnerships to address increasingly complex strategic challenges.

Hypersonix Board Chair, The Hon. Arthur Sinodinos AO, joined Planet America's Chas Licciardello and AmCham Australia CEO April Palmerlee for an AmCham lunch event in Brisbane, unpacking what the 2026 US Midterm Elections could mean for Australia.

The conversation covered the congressional committees that oversee funding for Australian priorities, shifting trade and tariff settings, and the diplomatic engagement landscape heading into November 3rd.

CEO Matt Hill also presented a keynote, sharing the developments underway at Hypersonix and how we are becoming further integrated with USA partners and operations.

Given the strong US-Australian partnership, it was great to see such strong commitment towards the issues shaping our alliance and our sovereign economic future.

As we gear up for our upcoming missions, the Ministry of Defence (UK) Commander Lee Williams RN and Commander Paul Greason joined Principal Engineer Adrian Koenig and CEO Matt Hill at Rocket Lab’s Auckland facility, hosted by Shaun O'Donnell, to finalise plans for our next launch.

🚀 Rocket Lab has proven itself a capable launch partner, and that was on full display earlier this year with the successful DART AE take-off. Their technical capability, operational precision, and shared commitment to pushing boundaries make them the right partner as we look ahead to our upcoming hypersonic flights.

We are proud to continue working together and excited for the next chapter.

Hypersonix continues to make strides in Brisbane, with CEO Matt Hill joining QLD Treasurer David Janetzki at the Australian British Chamber of Commerce Lunch to discuss defence investment and manufacturing capability within the region.

The conversation centred on Hypersonix's role in building sovereign capability here in Queensland - and how that capability positions Australia to manufacture and work alongside our AUKUS partners.

Matt also met with Trade and Investment Queensland CEO Justin McGowan to further discuss Hypersonix's progress. Our longstanding partnership with the Queensland Government has enabled us to continue supporting the priorities shaping Australia’s defence manufacturing base.

It was a pleasure to welcome Ministry of Defence (UK) Team Hypersonics representatives to our Carole Park HQ. The team were invited to tour our facility and meet directly with the engineers building our next-generation hypersonic aircraft, seeing first-hand what we’re developing here in Australia.

Hypersonix is actively engaged with the UK MoD across several hypersonic programs, working together to accelerate development and provide the testing capabilities needed for responsive missile and defence applications. Collaborations like this are critical to strengthening our defensive position, sharing information, and building relationships that make it all possible.

We're grateful to host the team and look forward to continuing to strengthen AUKUS capabilities together.

Hypersonix was proud to participate in Defence Catalyst, facilitated by the Australian British Chamber of Commerce at Australia House in London, where CEO Matt Hill was invited to deliver keynote remarks on the 14th and 16th of July 2026.

Matt outlined how hypersonics in Europe have moved from research curiosity to funded priority, with NATO’s Deep Precision Strike initiative committing $50 billion over the next decade to long‑range precision weapons led by the UK. He emphasised that credible deterrence now requires real, deployable hypersonic capability to deliver a new age of conventional deterrence - via systems that can hold strategic, in-depth targets at persistent risk through speed and range.

A core theme of the keynote was “if we fight together, we should build together”, referring to the Australia–UK industrial corridor as a force multiplier, not a supply‑chain risk.

Hypersonix embodies this model end‑to‑end with Australian sovereign design and manufacturing, close collaboration with international partners, and participation in the UK Ministry of Defence's Hypersonic Technologies & Capability Development Framework (HTCDF), backed by UK and European capital. As the UK convenes allies around Deep Precision Strike, our mission is to bring proven hypersonic technology, test capacity and industrial depth that shorten the path to a fielded European capability this decade.

Matt closed with a simple message to partners and allies: "In Ankara, the UK and Europe committed $50 billion to strike at range. The technology to do it at Mach 7 is already here, built by an ally. Built by Hypersonix. Ready to build together. Ready to Fly Faster.”

Furthermore, Samuel Hayes, Hypersonix's Director of Regulatory Affairs and member of the Australian British Chamber of Commerce's Subcommittee for Defence, chaired two panels covering rapid developments in autonomous systems and future air power. These conversations explored where enabling technologies, such as AI and quantum, pose technological, operational, and ethical challenges - and how we must always endeavour to preserve human centrality in command.
