Queensland's first home home owners grants are set to change...

The current $7,000 grant will be replaced with a $15,000 grant only available for new properties and will be known as the First Home Owner Construction grant.

Available from 12 September, the new First Home Owner Construction Grant is meant to help boost the building sector. First home buyers purchasing existing homes will have until October 11 to finalise contracts and claim the original $7000 grant.
