Delivering on a clean energy future does not come without risks. Queensland Hydro takes their responsibility in mitigating risks seriously.

For the last three years we have witnessed firsthand the commitment to maintaining and improving a robust crisis management capability. Each year the preparedness cycle of reviewing documents, resourcing, training, exercise, and subsequent implementation of improvements is strictly followed.

A recently developed Incident Management System in SharePoint was trialled and the team practiced coordination across teams in multiple locations, with the direct involvement of the CEO for the duration of the exercise.

🌟 Recovery Training, City of Logan!

This week, Phoenix Resilience successfully delivered the Local Recovery Group Training for the City of Logan!

🔍 Key Highlights:
• Latest Theory, Plans and Research: Shared the latest updates and knowledge.
• Thinking Ahead: Applied the program logic on a scenario by developing an outcomes chain that connects the required activities and enabling outcomes to the desired final recovery outcome.
• Community Led recovery: Explored initiatives to enable and capacitate community led recovery in Logan.
• Sharing Experiences: Participants shared experiences and insights throughout the day.
• Practical Application of Recovery Process: Practised the ex*****on of the recovery process and Recovery Action Planning in Guardian.
• Updates from QRA: Presentation from the Queensland Reconstruction Authority.
