Our first week back at First Nations Co. has been one of reconnection, reflection and renewed focus.

We are stepping back into the work alongside communities, organisations and governments, continuing to do work that is led by culture, shaped by lived experience and grounded in accountability. Our approach remains the same. We listen first, we walk with people, and we focus on outcomes that are practical, respectful and meaningful on the ground.

The year ahead is already taking shape across evaluation, strategy, policy reform and community led engagement, particularly in health, wellbeing and social policy. We look forward to continuing long standing partnerships and building new ones that are values aligned and impact driven.

If you would like to yarn about upcoming work, collaboration opportunities, or how we might support your organisation, please reach out. We are always open to a genuine yarn.

Here is to a strong year ahead.

As the year comes to a close, we want to pause and say thank you.

We’re grateful for the meaningful yarns, strong relationships and trusted partnerships built throughout the year. The conversations shared, connections made and work progressed alongside communities, clients and collaborators have been at the heart of everything we do.

We’ll be taking a well-deserved break and will be back on deck on Monday 12 January 2026, refreshed and ready for another big and successful year ahead.

We wish everyone a safe and restful break, and a Merry Christmas. We look forward to reconnecting in the new year.

First Nations Co. was proud to attend the Supply Nation Indigenous Business Trade Fair in Brisbane yesterday.

As an Aboriginal-owned consultancy grounded in culture, capability and community-led impact, our work is centred on strengthening self-determination, building culturally capable systems, and supporting organisations to deliver outcomes with and for First Nations peoples.

With more than 6,000 verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses now listed on Indigenous Business Direct, and over 90 Indigenous exhibitors showcasing their products and services, the Trade Fair highlighted the depth, diversity and innovation of mob-led enterprises nationwide. It reflects the core of our work in elevating First Nations excellence, strengthening partnerships and creating pathways for lasting systemic change.

We valued every yarn and connection made throughout the day. For those we met, and those we didn’t, please feel free to reach out to explore opportunities, partnerships and collaborations that align with our shared commitment to meaningful, community-centred impact.
