Three down, four to go! 🐢

Sea turtles have to be some of my favourite animals to illustrate. There’s something so beautiful about capturing all the little details that make each species unique.

So far, I’ve illustrated three species of sea turtles, and naturally, now I’ve decided I need to draw the rest! My goal is to eventually have all seven species illustrated as part of my wildlife collection.

We recently had the pleasure of working with client Azzam Al Mannai again to create an illustrated educational infographic exploring the lifecycle of green sea turtles in Oman. The project was designed to accompany Azzam’s beautiful photography of these turtles and add an educational element to the imagery, helping people learn more about the species, their lifecycle and the importance of their conservation.

For me, projects like this are a perfect example of why I love combining wildlife illustration, design and environmental education. Beautiful imagery has an incredible ability to capture someone’s attention, while education can turn that moment of curiosity into a deeper understanding and appreciation for the species we share our planet with.
