✈️ SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF FLYING AT DDSC ✈️
The Darling Downs Soaring Club has always been built on a shared passion for flying, but right now, the club’s towing capability is under real pressure.
The tug fleet is ageing, increasingly unreliable, and facing major airworthiness challenges affecting clubs across Australia and worldwide. Without action, safe and consistent operations are at risk.
Funds raised will help:
• Replace critical wing spars
• Repair and rotate engines
• Keep at least one tug operational in the short term
• Restore another aircraft as a reliable long-term solution
This is not a temporary fix, it’s a structured plan to secure dependable towplanes for years to come. With initial funding, immediate works can begin to stabilise operations and strengthen the fleet before next summer.
