Adam Thomas
Safety Consultants

Adam’s spent 20+ years in construction. He’s been a carpenter, a dogman, a rigger and a tower crane operator, and he’s led formwork crews on projects like the West Gate Tunnel.

So when he talks to a crew about high-risk work, he’s not reading it off a page… he’s done it!

He’s the kind of person who can talk to anyone, takes safety seriously and remains calm.
Exactly who you want stepping in when things get busy.

Anyone else gone from the tools to safety?
What did the tools teach you that you still use today?

Shane Kennedy
Senior Systems & Safety Consultant.

Shane started out as a site manager and project manager, then spent years running systems and safety nationally across Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.

He kept β€˜low risk’ accreditation with the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner, and ISO certification for safety, quality and environment with nil corrective actions over five years.

Before all that?
He was representing Queensland in beach volleyball

Got an accreditation, an audit or a management system that needs a steady hand?

Construction, mining, major infrastructure, LNG, waste management, manufacturing... and that’s just the industries.

What we love about having people like KK on our team is knowing we can put experienced, capable people in front of our clients.

People who know their stuff and understand what actually happens out on site.

So if you haven’t met KK yet, here’s your introduction.

Tyson brings the technical knowledge, but just as importantly, he knows how to make it work.

His approach is practical, collaborative and hands on. He works with people at every level to understand the problem and find a realistic solution.

And when he’s not working? Tyson loves nothing more than β€œgoing bush”. Rumour has it Tyson once spent an entire day behind a desk. We have been unable to independently verify this.

20 years of experience and still willing to leave the air-conditioning.

SafeAssure β€˜s Chief Operating Officer, Lauren Constable.

Lauren is one of those people who somehow manages to know what’s happening, what needs to happen next and probably what you’ve forgotten to do as well.

With more than 17 years’ experience across business management, construction, compliance and legal environments, she brings an incredible amount of knowledge to SafeAssure.

Behind the scenes, Lauren works across business operations, contracts, tenders, commercial management, compliance, stakeholder relationships and business development.

There’s organised… and then there’s Lauren.

SafeAssure simply wouldn’t be the same without her🧑

It only makes sense to start with the man who started it all.

Meet Gareth Davies, Founder and Managing Director of SafeAssure Pty Ltd

There’s a lot we could say about Gareth and this post still doesn’t quite cover it.

With more than 20 years in safety, Gareth brings an incredible depth of experience across construction, civil, mining, manufacturing and building, along with serious expertise in investigations, ICAM, auditing, accreditation and management systems.

But what really sets Gareth apart is that he’s never been interested in safety that simply looks good on paper.

He understands the work. He understands the people doing it. And he believes in practical solutions that make a difference.

That thinking is very much at the heart of SafeAssure today.

Experienced. Practical. Invested.
