MEET THE LIKEMINDED COMMITTEE 💗 | ELIZA GREGORY

Something you may not know about Likeminded is that our founder and every single one of our committee members are volunteers - all working full-time roles outside of the group.

Having an incredible committee helping bring everything together behind the scenes is honestly an absolute godsend!From helping organise events to making sure there’s always a friendly face there to welcome you, they’re a huge part of what makes Likeminded feel like Likeminded.

Eliza has been attending our events for just shy of two years now, and gosh, she’s consistently shown up and supported us across both the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

So when a volunteer space opened up on our committee earlier this year and Eliza was keen to put her hand up, it was an absolute no-brainer to have her join us.

As a Senior BDM at Code Property Group, networking, being a natural connector and being approachable are such important parts of Eliza’s role - and she brings all of that to Likeminded too!

Bubbly, welcoming and always up for a chat, she’s exactly the kind of person you want greeting you when you walk into your first event💕

We’re very lucky to have her as part of the team! 🫶

One of the things we love most about Likeminded is seeing incredibly busy, successful women still make the time to show up 🤍
 
Angela Tondelstrand, Director of Catton & Tondelstrand Lawyers , is the perfect example! She runs a successful business, leads a team, supports her clients and has a very full life outside of work too.
 
But she understands something we believe in so strongly at Likeminded: No matter how busy you get or how successful you become, nurturing genuine relationships never stops being important.
 
Angela talks about meeting women through Likeminded who have helped advance her business - but equally, how much she values being able to help other women she meets in the room.
 
And THAT is what it’s all about 🫶
 
Not walking into a room thinking “what can I get from this?” but genuinely getting to know people, making introductions, supporting each other and allowing the opportunities to happen organically!
 
Because business will always be about people - and continuing to invest in those relationships is how we flourish, both in business and in life ✨

Given Likeminded is run entirely by volunteers who all have full time jobs and businesses outside of the group, we’re putting ALL our November energy into one banging Christmas party for both chapters on the Sunshine Coast!

And yes… we’ve given you three months’ notice for a reason. 😉 Save. The. Date.

More details to come, but we cannot WAIT to have you there!!

We’ll then take our usual December + January break before kicking things off again in February 2027.

My birthday is coming up on September 3rd and this year I’m doing things a little differently - I’ll be spending the night in my car as part of the Live Like Her Challenge 2026 for The Forgotten Women 💗

Having spent almost a decade working across the finance, property and mortgage broking industries and four years building the Likeminded Women’s community - supporting and empowering women has become a huge part of my life!

I’ve always been passionate about women feeling supported, financially confident and secure in their future, which is why this challenge really hits home for me.

For one night, everyone taking part will sleep in their cars together in a safe space to raise awareness and funds for The Forgotten Women, helping women over 55 experiencing homelessness find a safe and secure place to call home.

For us, it’s one night. For too many women, sleeping in their car isn’t a challenge - it’s their reality.

Everyone deserves to live with dignity and age securely in place. If spending my birthday a little differently can help even one more woman do that, I’m all in.

We’ve set ourselves a BIG goal of $10,000 - but if everyone in our communities donated even $10, we could get there 🫶

What a fantastic afternoon celebrating the Queensland launch of Women in Property ! 🏘️

It was such a privilege to be in the room alongside so many incredible women from across the property industry, all passionate about building stronger connections, sharing knowledge, and creating more opportunities for women in the sector!

One of the highlights was the incredible mix of professions represented. From engineering and law to finance, development and beyond, it was inspiring to meet so many accomplished women, hear a little about their journeys, learn what they do, day to day life for them and their families and make some genuine new connections.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this community to Queensland. The energy in the room was inspiring, and it’s exciting to see another platform that encourages collaboration over competition.

A special thank you to Stockland Living for hosting the event at your stunning South Brisbane head office. It was fantastic to experience the beautiful space and, of course, to indulge in the seemingly endless supply of Brooki cookies! 🍪 🤤

There’s something pretty special about surrounding yourself with people who genuinely want to see each other succeed.

Here’s to growing the network, championing one another, and seeing the impact Women in Property has across Queensland. 👏✨

✨ MEMBER MOMENT: Chloe James | Cultivated HQ ✨

When we asked Chloe if there was any chance she could scoot to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane to share her Likeminded experience so far, she said yes in a heartbeat 🥹

Chloe first met our founder Georgie at a Brisbane Junior Chamber of Commerce event, where Likeminded had been recommended by women who genuinely love what we’re building. She came along to our very first Brisbane breakfast, and from that moment, she became such a valued part of our community!

If you’ve met Chloe at one of our events, you’ll know exactly what we’re talking about. She shows up with the biggest smile, the most vibrant energy, and is always the first to make someone new and nervous feel warm and welcomed. She has this incredible ability to build genuine relationships, and we’ve loved watching so many of those friendships continue well beyond our breakfast events.

As Chloe shares in her testimonial, what she loves most is that Likeminded isn’t transactional. It’s simply women supporting women, creating genuine connections, and cheering each other on.

Since filming this video, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of celebrating one of Chloe’s biggest milestones yet… she’s officially left her 9-5 and is now running Cultivated HQ FULL-TIME!

Watching women back themselves and build businesses they truly love is exactly why this community exists, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything Chloe has achieved.
