A weak digital footprint will make strong people look smaller than they are.

That is exactly why I am expanding this part of my work through Harveys Angel.

Imagine how dull the world would be if every brain worked the same way.

Thankfully, it does not.

This week is Neurodiversity Celebration Week. A moment to recognise people who are wired a little differently. People who think differently. Process differently. See patterns others miss. Ask questions others do not.

And in the right environment, they bloom.

This topic is close to my heart. I have always believed that different ways of thinking are not a limitation. In the right environment they are a strength.

Through Harveys Angel I meet people every week who have been told they are too much of something. Too direct. Too curious. Too different.

Yet those are often the very people who bring fresh thinking, new ideas, and the courage to challenge what is not working.

It is never about fixing the person. It is about finding the environment where their strengths are recognised.

As the year wraps up, it felt right to pause and say thank you and before I officially log off for the year, I had a little fun with this end of year video.

It’s part thank you, part therapy, and a gentle roast of the systems that tested us all in 2025. If you’ve ever stared at a screen wondering how a simple thing became so complicated, this one’s for you.

Harveys Angel is officially out of office until 9 January. Before I log off properly, I just want to say how grateful I am for every client, friend, cheerleader, and supporter this year. Your trust, your stories, and your courage to back yourselves is what makes this work so special.

2025 was big. Full of change, growth, and more than a few “what on earth am I doing” moments. And yet here we are, stronger, clearer, and ready for what’s next.

I hope you and yours have a relaxing, peaceful Christmas. Take the break. Rest properly. Be present with the people who matter.

Christmas gives you space to pause and take stock. Look at how you feel. Look at what this year asked of you. Childhood you expected a meaningful job. Adult you learned about pressure late nights and burning the candle at both ends while trying not to throw the matches.

Burnout is real. Beyond Blue report that one in two Australians felt burnt out this year. The highest rates are in the 18 to 29 age group. If you feel flat overwhelmed or running on empty please reach out. Beyond Blue are on 1300 22 4636. If you have EAP use it. You deserve proper support.

Use the holidays to check your direction. Write down what lifted you this year and what drained you. See if your job still matches the life you want. Small honest checks create big clarity.

Celebrating the end of year at the Sharp and Carter party and it would feel wrong not to call out the value of a good recruiter. Awkward hand and all the evidence is there that Max has backed me through a big year.
