We are looking for 2 Health & Safety Officers to join us! 🦺
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in ensuring KSEC meets all WHS obligations while continuously improving safety practices across our workforce and sites. The role will start in mid February for one of our major events and pay will be above award rates.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and monitor WHS policies, procedures, and systems
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits
Investigate incidents, hazards, and near misses and implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with Victorian and Australian WHS legislation
Deliver WHS inductions, training, and toolbox talks to staff
Maintain WHS documentation, registers, and reporting
Work closely with management and operational teams to promote a proactive safety culture
About You
Previous experience in a Health & Safety / WHS role
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and on-site across multiple locations
Strong attention to detail and reporting skills
Qualifications (Preferred)
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or higher)
First Aid Certificate
