Continuing with our yesterday’s post, today we are introducing the second course of our Mother’s Day lunch: pork, mushroom and cabbage spring rolls.

Pork, mushroom and cabbage spring rolls are a savory appetizer filled with browned ground pork, finely shredded cabbage, and aromatic mushrooms. They are wrapped in thin wheat wrappers, fried until crispy golden brown, served with sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Katherine inherited her grandmother’s recipe, all these delicious spring rolls are freshly handmade. It’s tender, juicy and full of flavor. They are one of the best selling dishes at Nightingale Restaurant.

That’s why we carefully selected 5 famous authentic dishes to introduce some popular Chinese dishes to beautiful Hunter Valley wine region. From today, we will introduce every dish of these 5 courses to show you how much effort and passion will be involved in creating these 5 courses.
First course: Peking Duck, it is a renowned Beijing delicacy featuring crisp, thin skin and tender meat, traditionally roasted in wood-fired ovens. Served with Mandarin pancakes, hoisin sauce, scallions and cucumbers, it is a staple of Chinese cuisine dating back to the Imperial era.
