“I DON’T HAVE TIME” AND OTHER MINDSET ISSUES
Ever feel like you're constantly racing against the clock? So many people I chat with believe they're time-poor. Thinking that if they just had more hours in the day, then all the things holding them back in business would simply fade away.

I get it, as parents, partners, business owners and individuals aspiring for a vibrant social life, a healthy body, and a sharp mind, we have a lot on our plates.

BUT…

Maybe it’s not just about time? 🤔

Last month I smashed a personal goal of mine for the month and did I miss a single moment with my baby girl? Did I skip out on ‘Me” time?
Do I secretly have my own personal time machine?

Nope. 🤷‍♀️

And that’s the thing. I’m just a normal (okay maybe a bit quirky on some days) Aussie mum with the same 24 hours as everyone else. Similar priorities and demands. So how did I pull it off?

It’s all about the approach.

Having been on this entrepreneur journey for a little while now (ok longer then I will ever admit!), I have learned that mindset and strategy are everything.

Shifting your mindset and taking action NOW is a game changer - you will never ‘have time’ unless you make it.
Carving out time for change now so you can enjoy more of what you love later? Sounds tempting right? And trust me, it’s easier than you think!
Months like mine are within reach with a bit of effort and some surprisingly simple tweaks to your business.
Don’t let “I’m too busy” be the reason you miss out. There’s always a way! 😉

Important Update for Small Business Owners:

ATO’s New Aggressive Approach to Recovering Small Business Debts.
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has introduced an aggressive new approach to chasing and recovering the $34m owed by small businesses using Director Penalty Notices and legal action.

The ATO has singled out collectable debt, small business tax performance and Superannuation Guarantee as its key focus areas in FY24.

Here’s what you need to know:
1. It is CRITICAL that you lodge Business Activity Statements and Superannuation on time [even if you can’t afford to pay what’s owing immediately] to avoid late lodgement fees
2. The ATO are initiating winding up orders to businesses far more aggressively than ever before
3. Remissions on interest charges and penalties are becoming the exception rather than the rule
Now more than ever, it’s critical to ensure you lodge Business Activity Statements and Superannuation on time to avoid heavy penalties that are becoming increasingly difficult to get removed.
Although it costs money to get your bookkeeping done and BAS’s lodged, it could cost FAR more in late lodgement fees and interest if you ignore it.
