Pioneer Balloon Australia Closing


It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Pioneer Balloon Australia will be closing. Our final day of trading will be on Tuesday 2nd April 2024.

Special thanks and appreciation to all our Staff and Management, and all of our esteemed teaching Instructors, Ambassadors, QBN members and CBA’s. Thank you to all of you, our wonderful customers and industry colleagues. We are so grateful and will forever cherish the friendships we have made along the way and memorialize the friends and colleagues we have lost.

Rachelle and I had no idea on that balmy Sydney morning in May 1996 when we arrived with our two children in tow where the journey was going to lead us. The adventures, conventions National and International, and celebrations have been plenty. We are proud to reflect upon the growth, achievements, recognitions and success of this exciting Australian and New Zealand Balloon Industry that we have been a part of. We are most proud and grateful of course that we can still call Australia our home.

Message From The Managing Director, Bruce Fraser Pioneer Balloon Australia.

The Pioneer Balloon Company USA have filed for Chapter 11. Pioneer Balloon Australia have not closed their doors, we are continuing to receive shipments, business continues as usual. We will keep you posted with any company updates.

Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code generally provides for reorganisation, usually involving a corporation or partnership. A chapter 11 debtor usually proposes a plan of reorganisation to keep its business alive and pay creditors over time. People in business or individuals can also seek relief in chapter Il.
