Through my work as a Community Facilitator with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR), I see the wonderful work that volunteers are doing every day in our communities. They make change happen.

There is so much research to support the idea that giving and supporting others (acts of service) improves your wellbeing and can increase longevity.

This year's theme is 'if everyone did'. I encourage everyone to consider how they can contribute to making our communities better. There are many ways you can use your knowledge, skills, and time, to make the world a brighter place.
