What an awesome day! Our associates Matt Wicking and Janet Rice recently facilitated a team day for the incredible folks at Environmental Justice Australia. They spent half the day doing a deep dive into core values – a session heavily inspired by an online workshop that our associate Jim Buckell designed and delivered for our team last year. We love seeing great frameworks get passed on!

We then introduced people to the Community of Selves – the Groupwork self-awareness model – which was well appreciated as something that would help them in their work. From there, they got stuck into some really positive problem-solving, with cross-organisational teams working to explore some tricky issues the organisation is figuring out how best to address.

It is always a privilege to hold space for organisations doing such important work. Thanks, EJA, for having us!

Today, on National Sorry Day, we pause to hold space for the Stolen Generations, their families and communities.

At Groupwork Centre, we believe that true collaboration and healing require naming what is real. It is our ongoing responsibility to deeply listen and center First Nations voices in our practice.

"Are we a social change organisation?" That was the big question we kept asking ourselves for the last couple of years. Grappling with it helped us clarify exactly who we are, and it completely shaped our new Strategic Narrative.

We realised that in these complex times, we urgently need the capacity to be resilient, to speak across difference and to inspire each other. Therefore, our work is about helping people figure out how to "get on" with each other so they can do good things in the world.

At the launch, we were proud to share our new Strategic Narrative. This document outlines our deep, practical recommitment to tackling climate change, nurturing the next generation of leaders, and advancing Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI).

We are stepping into a bold new chapter, and we’d love for you to read about it. 💛

A night to remember! ✨ We are still feeling the warmth from our Strategic Narrative Launch! It was such a beautiful evening filled with deep conversations, live music and shared stories.
