Tourism marketer HollyG works with businesses, destinations and events in the digital marketing space. After several tourism marketing roles once graduating university, in 2005 she stepped into a sales and marketing role at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa. She later became the Director of Sales & Marketing there, during which time she took on the role of Chair at Byron Bay Tourism. Her interest

in social media began in 2009 when she observed the rise of businesses participating in social media, particularly FourSquare, Facebook and TripAdvisor. A regular presenter and speaker, Holly’s hands on experience with tourism marketing, social media, community management, digital marketing and advertising ensures all her presentations are practical and actionable. HollyG also has a tourism marketing podcast on iTunes (Tourism Upgrade Podcast) and is a contributor to several industry publications.
