Today, we celebrate the incredible Meals on Wheels volunteers, staff, and supporters who do so much more than deliver a meal.

For many older people, a friendly visit and a warm smile can make all the difference. Meals on Wheels helps people stay connected, independent, and supported in their own homes while enjoying nutritious meals and regular social contact.

At Belong at Home, we're proud to recognise the dedication of those who give their time to brighten someone's day, one delivery at a time.

Volunteer Meals on Wheels Delivery Drivers Needed – Donnybrook & Boyanup
Could you spare just one hour a week?
We're looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to help deliver Meals on Wheels to older people in the Donnybrook and Boyanup communities. Choose Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, or volunteer on multiple days if you wish.
More than just delivering a meal, you'll be providing a friendly face, a kind word and an important connection to the community.
✅ One hour shifts from 11:30am
✅ Fuel allowance provided

We are a well-regarded, not-for-profit local organisation delivering essential services to older adults and their carers across the South West. With branches in Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Collie, Donnybrook, and Bridgetown, we’re proud to support our communities with care and dignity.

Due to growing demand, we have a part-time position available in our Donnybrook Team.

Your Role
As a support worker, you’ll help clients maintain their independence at home by providing services such as Domestic assistance, Social support, Respite care, Meal preparation, and Personal care.

To join our team, you’ll need:
A valid Police Clearance
Current First Aid Certificate
Up-to-date influenza vaccination (as required in aged care)
Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
Relevant experience in a similar role

Today, we stand together to raise awareness about elder abuse and the importance of respect, dignity, and safety for older people in our community.

Every older person deserves to feel valued, heard, and supported. At Belong at Home, we are committed to creating safe, caring environments where people can continue living independently with confidence and respect.

Elder abuse can take many forms and often goes unnoticed. By starting conversations, checking in with one another, and knowing the signs, we can all play a part in making a difference.
