Another rare event is taking place for me. That is - putting something on my Pension Pathways page. Thanks for all the supporters and well wishes for my health issues in July last year. No real dramas resulting as we got to things before they become a problem. Rebecca and I are still operating Pension Pathways but we are giving early notice about a planned travel event for April and May 2025. We'll still be working but also travelling so there will be no face to face customer time for those months. Of course - there will also be longer than usual delays in getting back to emails and phone calls when we are in areas with poor reception. Other than that - we are still on board to help through the process of applying for pension and keeping pension records up to date. As always - thanks for your belief and support for our business. Kind Regards Julien & Rebecca.

Just a quick note of apology. If you have been trying to reach us this week and we haven't been able to get back to you. We will en-devour to do so as soon as we can. I found myself in hospital early on Monday morning and had to get repair job done on my heart. Thanks to the amazing efforts of hospital staff - Rebecca and I should be able to catch up with most of the work next week. Fingers crossed.🤞 Thanks for your understanding. Kind Regards Rebecca and Julien.

Hi all in Facebook land. True to character – I remain pretty busy in life but very quiet on Facebook. However I thought that a few updates were worth sharing with you. I DID stop working for a few months a year ago and took the trouble to buy a house with some office space and slowly returned to helping people with their pension claims. In the last 6 months – I’ve had a helper in Rebecca Russell and we both now are taking on the task of assisting people with their pension applications. So yes – Pension Pathways is up and running again.
Something that I have posted in the past but feel it necessary to post again. People that are 67 years or more and still working may be entitled to a pension. You do not have to stop working to be eligible. It is income dependent however, I keep seeing people that should have applied years ago. Entitlement exists in far too many cases and Centrelink does NOT backdate claims to when you were entitled. They only backdate to when a claim has been lodged so if you’ve done an extra five years and not collected a pension – then it’s like paying a mega tax. My customer earlier this week was missing out on $10,000 a year (even though he was working full time) and therefore missed out on nearly $40,000 in total. Yay to the government for continually making it difficult to claim and not advertising these things on any platforms. Not paying pensions to people that have trouble applying and people who just don’t know probably would be saving the government billions.
Self employed people are the most common culprit about delaying a claim for a pension because they continue working past pension age. My recommendation is - if you self employed and over 67 then put in an application.
Anyway – In a nutshell. Talk to Centrelink about claiming a pension – it is a free service. Our service is not a free service however we are very good at what we do so if you need help – Give us a tingle. Julien or Rebecca

Just a Quickie to let you know I’m still alive and kicking🥳. Due to this week’s falling financial markets – it would be in your best interest to Update Centrelink with your current Super balances. Asset tested part pensioner will get an increase in pension if you take this action. If you are my customer – just give me a hoy and we’ll get it done. And just to be really clear – if you are getting a full pension – then an update of this kind will not change the rate of pension currently being received. Kind Regards - Julien

Christmas came early for me at Pension Pathways. A gift from a customer who is clearly happy with my work. 😁 Holiday season is upon us - My office will be closed from December 17th through to January 6th - so I'll just the do the urgent things on working days but otherwise looking forward to not calling Centrelink. In case anyone thought that Centrelink has improved over the last 12 months - you'd be wrong. 🥺

A Merry Christmas and Happy New year to all my customers. Thank you for your support this year and over the last 5 years. Due to the success of word of mouth referrals - I tend not to post much on facebook but I would definitely like to let you know that I am grateful for your support. I am having a few weeks off for gardening and de-activating my brain. I will back in the swing of things by mid January 2021. Just in case anyone is buying a new car and selling their reliable old (little car) - my daughter's car died on the freeway this week. She is a 3rd year Nursing student who is now in desperate need of an affordable and reliable run around car to finish out her studies with. I am happy to take facebook messengers on this issue or you can call me on 0414 985 499 if you were planning to sell or trade in your old car.🙂
