🎶 We’re recruiting a General Manager for the Australian Romantic & Classical Orchestra (ARCO).
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with one of Australia’s most distinctive orchestral organisations and play a key part in shaping its next phase of growth.
ARCO delivers national concert activity, recordings, education programs and the Young Mannheim Symphonists program, bringing historically informed performance to audiences and developing the next generation of Australian musicians.
As General Manager, you’ll work closely with the Co-Artistic Directors, staff and Committee to lead the organisation’s operational, financial and administrative direction. The role will suit someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and who brings strong commercial judgement, financial capability and stakeholder management skills.
We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have experience across the arts, cultural or live performance sector, including touring, presenter relationships, concert sales, funding, partnerships or education.
You don’t need to be a musician, but you will need to understand the environment in which arts organisations operate and have a genuine interest in supporting ARCO’s artistic vision.
✅Remote Role
✅$105,000 + superannuation
