Hi all!
Just wanted to share this really useful resource and information.
I met with Belinda Everett at the ETC My Small Business Expo and discovered she is offering some quality gold nuggets for anyone in the NDIS Industry that is not prepared for NDIS Registration.
More information can be found: https://assistindustries.com.au/about-us/
Independent support workers and small NDIS providers: do you know what needs to sit behind the support you deliver?
Policies, records, complaints processes, risk management and registration requirements can feel overwhelming when youโre running a small service.
Assistance Industry Resourcing (AIR) has created six short online courses to help you understand these responsibilities and start getting your systems organised.
The series walks through:
โ
Requirements relevant to your service.
โ
NDIS Practice Standards and the Code of Conduct.
โ
Evidence and record keeping.
โ
Managing risks.
โ
Handling complaints.
โ
Applying for NDIS provider registration.
Hundreds of templates and other resources are included, giving you practical starting points to adapt to your service.
The training supports preparation for registration; completing the courses does not itself make your business registered.
Access the courses through the Community Resource Pool website. Government-funded FREE access is available until 30 October 2026, so allow yourself time to learn and use the resources.

Know an independent support worker who could use this? Please pass it on.
We work with providers across the assistance sectors, including disability, mental health support, aged care, allied health and youth.
