We are currently looking for an experienced technician who has strong diagnostic skills and an ability to fault find while providing on-site or remote support to our customers. It could be business, retail, customer software or hardware/network problems.
Responsibilities can include:
* Installing or fixing hardware and software,
* Troubleshooting user issues,
* Manning the help desk
* Maintaining networks and computer systems.
Candidates applying for this position should be able to show that they have experience in the below disciplines:
• Diagnose and resolve problems across Windows, mac, iOS and Android platforms as well as their software, hardware, and service product lines.
• Troubleshoot network issues/ setting up internet router and Wi-Fi extenders
• Repair, install and configure IT equipment including end user desktops, laptops, printers and network equipment.
• Perform software upgrades to desktops, laptops, tablets and servers.
• Perform virus detection and removal.
• Ensure proper documentation and use of the ticketing system.
• Keep managers informed of significant problems and unexpected delays.
• Responsible for managing inventory, processing paperwork and submitting finished job cards for processing.
You could be working in a data room one day and installing high end IT equipment the next. We are looking for someone who is happy to help run cable; as well as have discussions with our end users, helping us to deliver consistent high levels of customer service.
