Ryan Nielsen, Director of Rhino Support Coordination, shares how the Growing Primary Care Resilience program strengthened their service.

"As a direct result of our involvement, we now possess a structured and actionable resilience plan that informs both our day-to-day practices and long-term planning.
The program has enhanced our operational confidence, strengthened our decision-making frameworks, and improved our organisation’s ability to maintain continuity of care during challenging circumstances.
Overall, the program has contributed significantly to the stability and future resilience of our service."

Primary Care providers, Pharmacies, Aboriginal Medical Services, Allied Health and Aged Care facilities can use our free Organisational Resilience Guide to build operational confidence, strengthen decision-making, and improve continuity of care.

As part of the Regional Enablers Program at Regional Business HQ, we are constantly looking for local solutions that make a real-world impact. This morning at the Childers Chamber of Commerce, we caught up with Chris and Karen from Rubyberry, a remarkable local business.

They produce Miracle Fruit Cubes, which have a unique ability to temporarily change how we perceive taste. While they are a fun culinary experience for some by making sour food sweet, they can be a game-changer for those undergoing chemotherapy who struggle with a persistent metallic taste (dysgeusia), a side effect that often leads to a loss of appetite.

We want to help make a difficult time just a little bit easier for members of our community, while promoting an amazing local business. We have a limited number of samples available for people to pick up from our HQ office for those currently navigating these challenges. If you have a loved one that is suffering from dysgeusia and want to try a sample, we are asking if you can help pay it forward if the product works for you and help by sharing your experience and help promote a brilliant local business.

A warm cuppa, good company, and a little break to brighten the day

We loved hosting our first Tenants Morning Tea for the year – it was a delicious one thanks to Oodies Cafe! We caught up on some exciting updates, including our Business Advisor David’s fundraiser – 100k for OCA.

David will be rowing 100km in under 12 hours at World Gym to support ovarian cancer research, after his family was sadly impacted by the disease.

Support David’s fundraiser today! Every donation, big or small, makes a difference → https://fundraising.ovariancancer.net.au/100kforocabydavidwise
