The WPA Planning Team had a wonderful night at the VPELA Gala Dinner on Friday 5th May. With the theme of ‘Living in the 70s’ embraced, shout out to our best dressed Nick and Adrian!

In the 2022 calendar year, the WPA Planning Team secured an impressive 40 Planning Permits for our clients.

A number of the Planning Permits issued were from the following Council areas: City of Whittlesea, Nillumbik Shire Council, Mitchell Shire Council and Greater Geelong City Council.

We are pleased to welcome Adrian to the WPA team. Adrian has 17 years of experience in town planning, including 7 years in Victoria. He specialises in interpreting planning schemes and legislation. Adrian brings great expertise and we are thrilled to have him on board.

Quick fact: Adrian has lived in 5 different countries! Most recently China.

Willow Mount Duneed Stage 1 achieved Statement of Compliance, and titles have now been issued. Upgrades were made to the existing Boundary Road, and Stage 1 financial targets were surpassed.

WPA successfully negotiated access agreements with neighbouring properties, allowing for the construction of a drainage and sewer outfall, and extending the roads into the property to the south for temporary turnaround areas. These works added value to the neighbouring properties and this project is a win-win for all stakeholders.

The WPA Family Fun Afternoon was a success. With a mix of activities like swimming, table tennis and a trivia showdown between the Construction and Planning teams. Team construction were victorious by a slim margin of one point.

Overall, the event offered laughter, engaging conversations, and a blend of relaxation and entertainment for all.
