I love working with Ed, not just because he has a cool name!
Two months ago I was talking to Ed and the challenge of his sales system came up. Or more to the point the lack of a sales system. Especially one that didn’t rely on him.
I shared with him the three step process we have for building sales processes that create high conversions.
Ed said - looks great, but can you do it for me?
That excited me a lot as I love rolling up my sleeves and getting into businesses and changing them for the better.
So I did.
BUT
Ed didn’t just want a sales system. He wanted one his team could do most of. And one that had higher conversions then what they were doing now.
I love a challenge.
You see Ed was responsible for 100% of the selling. Whilst he had a process - he didn’t follow it. It was a bit complicated and he just adapted in every sales session
(Hard to train teams to do that)
So we got stuck in.
These are the steps that we did with Ed and that you need to do to create a leveraged high converting sales system:
- Review whats good and what needs improving
- Outline the current system steps and main moving parts
- Add in 3 CRITICAL steps that make the system leveragable and improves conversions
- Create the collateral (so you don’t have to make it up every time you get someone new in the sales process)
- Integrate it within the team. This means upskilling and training them.
If you do these 5-relatively simple steps you will create a better sales system.
