More clients at the same show doesn't mean more chaos.
It means smarter planning โ€” and better results for everyone.

At Hort Connections in Adelaide, we had the pleasure of delivering stands for three separate clients, and that's exactly the kind of project we love at Impact Displays.

Why? Because when we're across more than one build at a single event, we can:

* get even deeper into the show planning process
* work more closely with organisers and venue teams
* flex our planning muscles to make every build smoother and smarter
help our clients get even more value from the event they're already attending

It's a great example of how thoughtful stand planning can create a bigger impact โ€” not just for one brand, but across the whole show experience.

Thanks to the team at Hort Connections for a great event in Adelaide. We love being part of shows where we can help multiple clients make the most of their presence.

Captainโ€™s Log, Stardate 2026.5.27: ๐Ÿ––

Mission: Overnight installation for J.P. Morgan at the ACTA show, Crown Promenade Melbourne.
Status: Running on two hours of sleep and high-octane caffeine.
Discovery: A high-tech interactive hub that looks like it was beamed in straight from the bridge of the USS Enterprise. ๐Ÿš€

Overnight builds arenโ€™t for the faint of heart, but they allow us to pull off something spectacular before the doors even open.

The hero of this mission is the interactive touchscreen table. In a crowded hall, this is how you win:
๐Ÿ”น Visual Gravity: It pulls visitors in with light and movement.
๐Ÿ”น Hands-on Discovery: It turns a passive observer into an active participant.
๐Ÿ”น The "Cool" Factor: Let's be honest, it looks like 23rd-century tech.

Huge thanks to the crew for the late-night heavy lifting, and to Southside (South Melbourne) for providing the "dilithium crystals" (aka coffee) that powered my handover energy. โ˜•๏ธ

If your current exhibition strategy feels like itโ€™s stuck in the 20th century, it might be time to upgrade your tech.

Live long and prosper. ๐Ÿ––

Most exhibitors spend tens of thousands on a stand.

Then send their team out in mismatched shirts and shoes.

At ADC Melbourne, one detail kept catching our eye: at least three exhibitor teams were wearing shoes that matched their stand branding.

It sounds small. But it worked so well!

A great exhibition stand doesn't stop at the walls, lighting and graphics. Your team is part of the stand too.
What they wear becomes an extension of the brand:
It makes the team look unified
It helps the stand feel more considered
It reinforces brand colours in a subtle but memorable way
It shows attendees you've thought about every detail

When people walk past hundreds of stands in a day, those small visual cues matter more than most exhibitors realise.

We recently built this Sanofi stand at ADC Melbourne in the dermatology space โ€” and it was a strong reminder that brand presence isn't only built through the structure itself. It's built through the whole picture.

Tag someone who gets the little details right on their stand. They deserve the recognition.

Ever tried having a meaningful presentation on a noisy trade show floor?

Thatโ€™s exactly what we solved for J&J Innovative Medicine at Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Perth.

This stand wasnโ€™t just about presence โ€” it was about experience.
Using Silent Safari tech, visitors could tune in, block out the noise, and actually engage with presentations the way theyโ€™re meant to be heard.

Simple idea. Big difference.

How perfect that our understated yet powerful and impactful leader Cassie worked on this project ... she understands that sometimes "less is more" (sometimes with Dan, more is more)

Check out these amazing display cases we built for Meril. In high-end retail design, people always deploy the Scarcity Effect. A crowded case suggests oversupply, which subconsciously devalues the product. But by utilising "negative space" in these cases we built, we gave room for hero pieces in a minimalist setting ... this triggers the psychological cue of rarity and exclusivity.

Instead of cluttering the booth, we curated it. The space featured a striking lit 3D logo with timber highlights and a large graphic surface that let their hero product breathe. To provide the necessary "psychological weight" for their surgical equipment, we built two bespoke jewelry-style showcases for this display at the Sydney Valves Conference (sydneyvalves.com) organised by Liberty Events at Sheraton on the Park.

Studies show that over 60% of consumers judge the quality of a high-value item based on the materials surrounding itโ€”a phenomenon known as the Halo Effect. If a display feels flimsy, brand trust evaporates. By using premium textures and weighted glass, we ensured the sensory branding matched the life-saving precision of Merilโ€™s technology.

The Lesson: Donโ€™t just show your inventory; curate it. High-end textures and strategic silence in a display speak much louder than noise.

Building the perfect trade show stand isn't a "one and done" job. For long-term partners like Dermocosmรฉtica, the real magic happens in the evolution.

Weโ€™ve just wrapped another successful build for the team at Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists - ASCPD Symposium 2026 at , and itโ€™s a perfect example of what happens when you treat an exhibition space as a living, breathing project.

When you work with a client year-on-year, the goal shifts. Itโ€™s no longer just about "getting the walls up." The focus shifts to:

Optimising the Flow: Learning exactly how delegates moved through the space last year and tweaking the layout to eliminate bottlenecks.

Iterating the Tech: Updating displays and lighting to ensure the brand looks as fresh as the products they represent.

Building Towards Perfection: Taking the "wins" from previous shows and doubling down on them.

A huge thank you to the team at ASCPD for putting on another world-class event for the and community. The energy on the floor was incredible, and the Crown Promenade team made the logistics and bump-in a breeze as always.

At Impact Displays, we love the "big reveal" of a new client, but there is a special kind of pride in the "better than last year" reveal for a long-term partner.

Cheers to the Dermocosmetica team for trusting us to keep pushing the boundaries of what your brand can achieve on the floor.

See you at the next one! ๐Ÿฅ‚

The Convenience & Impulse Expo highlights the importance of making an Impact ... fast!

That is our specialty. We don't need a big stand space to make a big impact. This booth looks ultra high-tech at first glance, but the real impact of this 6 sqm comes from premium ex*****on.

For this build, we kept the technology simple:
๐Ÿ’กLED screen on the left
๐Ÿ’กlightboxes to the back and right
๐Ÿ’กintegrated LEDs throughout
๐Ÿ’ก3D illuminated logo
๐Ÿ’กclean, premium finishes throughout

The result for GS1 Australia was a stand that felt polished, modern and high-end without overcomplicating the space.

Thatโ€™s often the difference with smaller exhibition footprints, especially at busy retail shows like C&I. Itโ€™s not about cramming in more. Itโ€™s about making every element work harder.

Our leadership philosophy is to be the "backlighting" in your background ... but clearly Dan's face didn't get the memo. ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ“ธ . When Dan and the team are on site, he is the backlighting that powers every client's setup, even if he keeps accidentally ending up in front and centre, prime focal point. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But jokes aside, that "backlighting" philosophy is exactly what we delivered for Perrigo Company plc at Australasian Pharmacy Professional Conference and Trade Exhibition (The Pharmacy Expo) on the .

We didn't just build a stand, we created a high-contrast environment where every sub-brand has its moment. Each display space was colour-matched to individual product brands like Tiger Balm, Compeed, and Lucas' Papaw, and we gave a boost to the Perrigo parent company logo, upgraded with a custom backlit 3D sign that commands attention from across the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre floor.

*** Why the "Glow" Matters: Visibility ***
A backlit 3D sign cuts through the noise of a busy expo floor.
Pantone-perfect branding signals the quality and professionalism that pharmacy and healthcare audiences expect.

From the first render to the final LED connection. We stay in the shadows so your brand can take the spotlight. ๐Ÿ’กโœจ

Stop building for three days and start building for the whole year.

We just finished the bump-in for Boston Scientific at USANZ 2026 at the MCEC. Their custom display for the Rezลซm handpiece is a masterclass in getting more "mileage" out of an exhibition budget.

This entire display is a hero piece built using Pixalux (pixalux.com.au) and is completely battery operated. This isn't just a part of the stand; itโ€™s a high-performance, portable asset that solves the "one-and-done" problem of traditional tradeshow builds.

Boston Scientific can now repurpose this exact display for:

Hospital in-services and clinical training days
Internal sales meetings and roadshows
Smaller regional conferences where a full custom stand isn't viable
High-impact lobby or showroom features between events

When your display is this portable, your brand experience isn't tethered to a single booth, it goes wherever the product needs to be.

Great to work with the team at as they always put together a fantastic show.

If youโ€™re exhibiting at multiple medical or pharma shows this year, ask yourself: is your stand an expense for one week, or an asset for the next 52?

Every time we roll up to a venue in our pink vests, weโ€™re not just thinking about stand design and install โ€“ weโ€™re thinking about the footprint we leave behind.

Thatโ€™s why, behind the scenes, every project we deliver is also helping grow a forest through our partnership with Carbon Neutral's Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.

For us, itโ€™s simple:

Every client who trusts us is also backing reforestation, habitat restoration and biodiversity.

Every tree is a small promise that great brand experiences donโ€™t have to cost the earth.

So when you see Impact Displays on the show floor, know thereโ€™s a quiet second story behind the stand โ€“ one of 6,850 (and counting) trees helping rebuild a healthier landscape.
