The excitement meter just about popped a cork at Kidz Artworx today.
We started a new project.... Puppets. I made one a while back & they have been asking about doing one of their own ever since.
We are using a really easy method.
You will need boxes. One per puppet.
We used Vita Weet boxes. You need to cut on
3 sides & then fold it so the 2 halves touch so you can use your hand to move the puppet.
Plastic boxes that you get fruit in would work too.
This is the structure.
Now you can go to town.
Foam, paper, pipe cleaners, pom poms, wire, string, wool, fabric, paint for adding the details of your character.
Scissors, glue or substitutes.
Now go mad🤓
You can also make a silhouette for each side of the face & attach it to the box to create a more complex character.
