𝗩𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗮𝘆

Work has now commenced on the Vincent Street and Bay View Crescent seawall project in Dunsborough.

The project is an important step in helping protect the foreshore, nearby properties and public infrastructure from ongoing coastal erosion.

These works follow community engagement, including a community survey undertaken in early 2026 as part of the Dunsborough Foreshore Coastal Adaptation Project. Feedback from residents, property owners and stakeholders helped inform the City's approach to managing erosion risks along this section of coastline.

Over the coming months, the community may notice increased truck movements, earthmoving machinery, construction noise, temporary fencing and some changes to access around the work area as rock is transported and placed to construct the seawall.

Works will be carried out Monday to Saturday between 7am and 6pm, with completion expected by December 2026, weather permitting.

We appreciate the patience and cooperation of residents and visitors while these essential coastal protection works are completed. Please follow all traffic management measures, temporary access changes and directions from on-site contractors to help keep everyone safe.

🛹🛴 We’ve had a few phone calls from concerned community members, regarding why they can’t access the Busselton Skate Park 🛴🛹

City of Busselton have closed the skate park due to the cleaning and resealing of the skating surface. The closure is from Tuesday the 25th until Friday the 28th of March.

Lots of exciting events happening in the Southwest this long weekend.

There’s a lot of work that goes behind organising and setting up these events, for our part in all of that, it involves everything to do with fence.
See if you can spot some of them, it might be our crowd control barriers, white picket banners or our fence panels.

𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗗𝗼𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗽 & 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀

The City’s contractors are now on site, working on strengthening the coastal dunes in this area and refurbishing the coastal path along Geographe Bay Road. 🌊

𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗽 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁
The Dolphin Road Boat Ramp will need to be closed until mid-April 2025, but it will be open again for the Easter long weekend. The ramp may be able to be opened temporarily on weekends during March and early April depending on construction progress, but parking will be very limited.

You can still launch your boat at Abbey Boat Ramp during this period.
