South West Rural Respite Services If you are the Carer for someone and would like some extra support in your caring role South West Ru Morning tea and lunch are provided.

If you are Caring for someone and would like some extra support in your caring role South West Rural Respite (SWRRS) may be able to help. SWRRS provides Flexible in-home respite services for Primary Carers of people who are aged 65 years and over; or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. SWRRS can also provide respite assistance to people with complex care needs. Serv

ices may include social support in the home or taking people out for coffee or to appointments, assistance with personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks. SWRRS in-home services are available 24/7 throughout the South West Country Regions of WA. Respite may be taken as small regular hours every week; a 12hr sleepover or 24hr live-in service on occasions. SWRRS also provides Friendship Clubs in Manjimup and Bridgetown. These are 4 hour sessions where participants enjoy social activities in the company of others. For more information please contact:

Manjimup: Wednesday’s from 9.30am – 1.30pm

A minimal contribution is requested for the respite services received. This assists SWRRS to continue to provide more hours of care to others. SWRRS is subsidised by the Australian Government Department of Social Services Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
