Nothing has ever been handed to us on a silver platter, we do what we can to create a life for these two where they get both parents present.

Moving back to Cairns, where and I grew up. Has had me realising how tough we had it living on the coast.
We were there for 10years!

We didn’t have the family support like we do here, we relocated there not knowing one soul! Some days I wonder if this is now our forever home, but I also let go of trying to predict the future in that way.

We are choosing to be here right now, and these two are THRIVING!

We can clearly see that our babes hearts are full so how could we wish for it to be any other way?

A man was walking on a beach one day, when he came upon a fisherman.

He noticed the fisherman had a bucket full of crabs. The crabs were all over each other, climbing on top of one another.

The bucket didn’t have a lid.

The man then asked the fisherman if he was worried the crabs would escape.

The fisherman said no, because if only one crab was in the bucket it could easily climb out.

But because the bucket was full of crabs, if one crab tried to crawl out, the rest would pull it back down.

Sure you have heard of this crab theory… In Australia it’s often call Tall Poppy Syndrome. I can’t believe it’s actually a thing.

This happens so often to humans, we don’t even realise it at times.

Perhaps you have tried to do something that is considered brave.
A little different.
You have felt completely unsupported and sometimes ridiculed for your courage?

Do you feel like sometimes you have people in your life that want to pull you back down?

I wonder why we ignore opportunities that are presented to us?

Is it because we’re feeling scared?
We aren’t willing to get outside our comfort zones to try something new?

Quite often we are so consumed by what people think of us. It’s a common story.

Today is the day where we say
β€œenough is enough”
I’m choosing me and my family because my happiness is the most important thing to me.

I can’t explain how grateful I am for this platform already. 🀍

The support from the women I’ve connected with has been like nothing I have ever experienced before.

Everyone is welcome.
Women from all walks of life.
Each with their own unique goals and dreams.

You are welcome AND YOU MATTER.

❢ π“π€πŠπ„ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π…πˆπ‘π’π“ 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏! β€œA journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” Here's the thingβ€”you may not have the confidence that you can climb the entire mountain. You don’t have to today. Today, you can choose to take the first step.

❷ 𝐆𝐄𝐓 πŽπ•π„π‘ π˜πŽπ”π‘ π„π†πŽ! It's not our fear of failure that makes us not move; it's our fear of looking small. It's the ego that kills us because we won't take that first step. Thank it for keeping us safe but it’s time to move past it!

❸ π‚πŽππ“π‘πŽπ‹ 𝐓𝐇𝐄 π‚πŽππ“π‘πŽπ‹π‹π€ππ‹π„! You can't control it all, but you can control YOU! You can manage your attitude and the actions you need to take in order to get to where you’d want to go.

When we look at our external world, we live in crazy uncertain times right now.

We all have the same hours in a day. It’s a matter of what we do with those. We are all busy.. that’s a fact. It’s a matter of what you choose to be busy with.

Success is not easy or convenient. It’s hard. But you know what else is hard? Not living the life you desire to live! Saying NO all the time when you want the answer to be yes.

Too many times we are letting our busy be our excuse for not getting where we want to go. When you have a goal and a purpose nothing will stop you!

Decide NOW to set your goals and go for them. Life is too short to look back with regret. Prove to yourself you can, because you can!
