💍 SENTIMENTAL RING RECOVERED – TALLEBUDGERA CREEK

I received a message from a lady who’d lost a very special and sentimental ring while relaxing on the sand at Tallebudgera Creek. She’d been fidgeting with it while lying on her towel and, without realising, it slipped off into the sand.

Four days later she heard about Coastal Metal Detecting through friends and got in touch.

Knowing how heavily this beach gets detected, especially around the dry sand and towel line, I headed down as soon as I could. After four days and during the school holidays, I honestly wasn’t too confident it would still be there.

But within about two minutes, the Minelab Manticore gave me a beautiful signal. Two scoops later… up popped the ring! 🙌💍

One very happy and relieved owner, and another successful recovery at Tallebudgera Creek.

Another successful ring recovery! 💍🔎

I got a call from a holidaymaker who had lost his ring while playing football with his mates on the beach at Broadbeach. They’d spent a couple of hours digging through the sand trying to find it with no luck before speaking to the lifeguards, who passed on my number.

I was at work when I got the call, so I downed tools and made the hour drive up to the Gold Coast.

Once I arrived and got the detector out, it took about 30 seconds to locate the ring — pretty much right where we were standing! 😂

Safe to say they were all very happy to see it again.

Another great result and another ring back where it belongs. 💍👌🏼

💍 Another special ring recovered! 🙌🏼

We received a call from a very worried gentleman who had been for a swim and, after drying off and walking back up the beach, realised his necklace had come unclipped and the ring he was carrying on it was gone.

The ring wasn’t just any ring — it was his mother’s eternity ring and held a lot of sentimental value.

Dave headed out for the search and thankfully managed to locate it! 🎯

Another sentimental piece found and safely returned to its very relieved owner. ❤️

💍 Another Successful Ring Recovery 🙌

This afternoon we received a call from a couple visiting from Victoria after a wedding ring was lost in the sand at North Burleigh on the Gold Coast.

Unfortunately I was unavailable at the time, but I quickly got Dave onto the job. Within minutes of arriving and beginning the search, Dave successfully located the missing wedding ring buried in the sand.

Plenty of smiles and relief all around once it was safely back on its owner’s finger 😊

A great result for a lovely couple enjoying their holiday.

Another successful recovery at Brunswick Heads Beach 🙌💍

Sarah lost her ring in the sand and after searching for ages with no luck, gave me a call. I dropped what I was doing, headed straight over, and managed to locate it buried in the sand within 5 minutes using my specialised metal detecting equipment.

Nothing better than seeing the relief and excitement when a sentimental item is back where it belongs.

💍 Another Happy Ending – Ring Recovered! 🙌

Got a call earlier today from Sonia who had been enjoying a beautiful day at Currumbin Alley, Gold Coast with her kids. To keep her rings safe from sunscreen, she popped them in her pocket… but somewhere along the way, they slipped out into the sand without her realising.

It wasn’t until it was time to head home that she discovered her pocket was empty — every beachgoer’s worst nightmare.

After chatting with a friend, she was pointed in my direction and gave me a call just after lunch. I was on-site within half an hour, and Sonia guided me to the area she believed the rings had been lost.

From there, it was time to get to work — methodically gridding the area with the detector. After digging up a few usual suspects (a $2 coin, sinkers, and a bit of scrap), we finally hit the target…

✨ A stunning wedding ring back where it belongs! ✨

Nothing better than seeing that smile when a lost ring is slipped back onto the finger — safe and sound.

💍 Another happy recovery on the Gold Coast!

Yesterday I got a call from Kyle, who was down at Main Beach, Surfers Paradise for a bucks weekend with the boys. After a game of footy on the sand, they all went for a swim in the surf — and that’s when his ring slipped off and disappeared in the water.

He reached out later that afternoon, and we lined up a search for the next low tide. Conditions were spot on, and within 10 minutes of detecting, the ring was back in hand 🙌🏼

There’s nothing better than being able to reunite someone with something that means a lot to them — especially on a big weekend like that.
